there is a good experiment. if you run a report for last month, get the total. and run a report for this month, get the total, and add in your estimated revenue for today... sum it all up. are your reported "pending" balances off as well? or is it just the actual pending balance thats off? curious to know if anyone cares to check and let me know.
ok August's earning + September's earning + today's earning= pending balance for me available balance $0, but i've been paid twice.. on July 25th and August 25th
so yeah, if you keep records of your earnings at the end of each month then you could figure out which month this "audit" is happening for. i just checked mine and all my numbers for last month and this month are exactly dead on with my personal reports. when adding all the numbers together, including today thus far, my total revenue is less than my pending balance (thankfully or i would be freaking out like everyone else). anyone else? from my side, it really looks like the pending balance is just inaccurate (glitched). it is an estimate after all. im really suprised that nobody has heard anything from YPN on this.
but it isn't a glitch showing too much then correcting itself because I am falling below last months earnings at this time and have grown over 25% since last month.
Wow. This is crazy. I had forgotten that I applied for YPN and just got a phone call from them today about it. I couldn't talk at the time and just let it go to VM. I wonder if I should even bother with it now. Google never did this to me.
I guess if you don't cehck revenue constantly you wouldent notice. But I am very upsett by this. I want a legitimate reason. I geotarget my ads to US only, and I don't click my own ads. All my traffic is legitimate and has been legitimate for ever.
when i add my balance for last month, plus this month so far, plus today = it is less than my total/pending balance
It should be said none of the systems is real time...There is always a lag between click accrued and earning reported.... Just like any business if fraud is involved in your earnings your money will be taken back Be it chargebacks for stolen credit card charges too many clicks in adsense / ypn you deposit a counterfeit bill in the bank you lose the money... part of life and part of doing business......try to limit your losses yes but also remember,,,,,especially for those with earnings 5k plus per month in ad revenues...... 10 years ago we/ you could not do that online we / your are fortunate life could be much worse.... Peace
sounds like we are all at the mercy of the powers that be. it makes a newbie think twice about getting in the business
Hey there, Yesterday, a limited number of publishers were impacted by an error in the reporting of their Account Balance. We have identified the error, and the balance information for these publishers will be updated over the next 24 hours. We apologize for any inconvenience we caused with these publishers. YahooSarah
Yes thats true Of course Sam Walton Warren Buffet Bill Gates The G Boys Me (You perhaps) and 100s of thousands of others would not have went into business if we sat and worried about all of the risks or "powers that be".... "that which doesn't kill us makes us stronger" Overcome the adversity,, and push harder....you will make it if you really honestly try.
Has anyone tried calling the Yahoo Publisher support line yet? When I got accepted into the YPN beta they gave me a phone number I could call if I had any questions. Maybe they can help you guys out.
Meanwhile on all Google threads there is no response from google after 90 posts, 900 posts, 9,000 posts, 90,000 posts feel a pattern developing?? Yahoo Rocks Google Sucks Lox
