That's what I was trying to say. That hasn't happened for awhile. And it's not a 'higher inner page PR' correction, since http://www.wowdirectory.com/ went down one... There has to be something else in play here. It's got a huge number of indexed pages, maybe that's the deal?
I can confirm that I am showing more backlinks from the datacenter that the OP listed. No PR change, but hey, I'll take what I can get.
None of my sites have changed yet. Oh wait! There goes one! Right there! ...Nope, sorry. Just a bug on the screen. Definetly no change.
I have seen some backlink updates, which are happening on and off throughout the day. I'm not sure I would consider this a PR update yet, at least an across the board update. Hell, there is probabl no rhyme or reason.
I see a change all right!!!! http://mattcutts.com/ http://www.mattcutts.com/ http://mattcutts.com/blog/ http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/ Yo, Matt, what happened to your PR!!!
I can accept that there is no rhyme or reason... Google's data is screwed up, we all know that, and this coming so soon it definitely would be... But giving negative rep before checking the proof is flat ignorant. (I actually expected some early in the thread. Always happens. ) Just because it is not happening for you, just because you cannot see it... does not make it not exist. There are two confirms here, including a new site going 0 > 2. And it shows on other tools, as well...
I haven't checked any datacenters, but just using the Google toolbar (not really sure how reliable it is, since I don't pay very much attention to this stuff), a number of my newer sites have gone from a PR0 to PR5. I don't know if it's a glitch or what, but that seems like an incredible jump. Maybe they're screwing around back there. We are talking about 2/3-month old sites here... EDIT: I just checked some of my newer sites here http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ and yup, the new sites I mentioned are all PR5s (with some PR4s thrown in there)! No idea when this update happened, but since the sites are only 3 months old, tops, it couldn't have been the last PR update -- when was that, anyway?
hmm interesting. the site that you mentioned have some move between 5 and 6 http://livepr.raketforskning.com/?u=http://www.wowdirectory.com/ for me nothing change or I can't find.
One data center changing settings is NOT a PR Update!!!!!! Next one should be starting end of September & finished by October 10th by my calculations and my PR Predictor Glass Ball Oracle Thing...... If you are looking for reasons why you are seeing some change do a Google search for the term 'everflux' without the little marks on either side. Peace and hope this stomps out any PR Fires before they start.
I got a lot of email alerts of backlink changes from my Pagerank/backlink Monitoring tool. Google did for a while what we call 'Dance'. Give this tool a try - http://www.rankalert.net/datacenter-watch.php
