Addon notes. The categories is to make sure your article falls into related areas, not thrown anywhere as junk. Relevance does makes a difference in terms of traffic quality and backlinks. Affiliate links are allowed but might be rejected by some destinations, mask it with a url shortener will be fine. My personal experience on submitting articles, they were able to reach 800-1000 destination on average. Bringing decent number of uniques a day when I schedule 50-100/day. Do remember these articles once submitted will be there forever until the site is down. It is kind of permanent exposure just like what you know about the usual article marketing.
