Hi my paypal was limited for no reasons last month so i asked my ''friend'' if i could store my ebay sales money on his paypal account.
He agreed and i made around 500$.
Now he says he (borrowed) and spent all the money and isn't paying me back.
Its been serveral weeks now and everytime he comes up with an excuse.
I doubt this person is planning on paying me back however i dont know what i could do to get it back since i live in the netherlands and he is in pensylvania.
Do you think i could file a small claims court or do something about this or am i just screwed?
I do have a recorded conversation on aim where he states that he will pay me back , and i have all my sold ebay sales on my ebay account linked to his paypal account.

Thanks in advance for ur help.

Well you cant' get your money back legally unless until your buyers charge back that PayPal id. In that case also your clients will get their money back and not you. Now its only humanity that can get your money back and if he wants to pay you back rather then screwing you.

    Regards

You can't do anything in this. Actually never trust anyone when money matters  Just learn a lesson from this and move on.

Nothing you can do other than hope he will ethically return it to you because you have no legal ground.

I learned it hard way and it seems same is the case with you, when its money don't trust anybody.

I think it is much better to asked your former clients to chargeback your friend so you can have your money back or you can arrange for someone again or tell you client to send money in other ways like Xoom or Western Union perhaps

the chargeback thing of my clients is a good idea however i sold game codes for 10$ each so that would be around 60 clients to make a charge back.

I guess i did make a mistake by letting him store my money and normally i dont trust people at all however because my paypal was limited i thought this was the only option.

Thanks for the support though il just ask him to send it back and if he doesnt il just have learned a lesson.

Hi im thinking about doing the chargebacks by emailing all my buyers.
My question however is: Is it possible for them to make a chargeback even though they left positive feedback?
How can i make sure my buyers will win the chargeback?
All i have control over is my ebay account , not the paypal account that my money is stored on.
    Thanks for the help

Ps: Also what should my clients put? item not received , item did not meet expectations or item damaged?
Ofcourse all 3 of them are lies because they did receive it , are glad with it and left positive feedback.
    Any suggestions is very appreciated.

Hmm, seems unfortunate. I live in Pennsylvania. I'm not sure what I could do though. Send me a PM or something.

Completely agree. These kind of things happen in everyones life. You can do nothing about this. Try contacting the buyers and ask them to file a complaint against the buyer. Then, PayPal will give the money back to the buyers.

However, no surety that youll get all your money back though!

You're pretty much screwed unless you get creative. Even then, it doesn't sound like they even have to money to give you to begin with. They probably spent it on blow and hookers.

Asking your Buyers to chargeback is a BAD IDEA.
I'd go with cool_78's suggestion, that has worked for me a few times.
You can always threaten him randomly like you need the money and the fact that you have the conversation recorded you will sue him somehow, etc..
Keep tryin, that's the only way i see as of now.
