How Does a Site with 1 Backlink have a PR of 3?

    This guy approached me for a link exchange.....his site is a PR of 3 but has only 1 backlink? And its not a good one at that? Am i missing something here?

    Age can be a huge factor of the page rank of a site. Many sites with only a few links can have a PR3 if they are old.

    depends entirely on the power of the back link. As mentioned above variables such as age and page rank of other page can and will affect it. Google isnt always black and white and somethings should be taken for granted!

    ya it's weird because I created a website that has no links and it gave it a PR3 rating on google.

    Domain age and Quality back link form high PR site is most important for Page Rank.
