I lost my ranking

That is not the first time but third or fourth , the primary keyword is camcorder battery , it was always on page 1 in the part . Last month , it dropped to page 6 and then back to page 1 again , and this happened again about 2 weeks later. Now , it is on page 10 , what is the problem ? Have i done anything wrong ?

PS: lost 30 back links .

 

Most likely your competitors are also doing some SEO work and they have higher amount of backlinks than you or they have more authority links. As for losing your back links, it's not actually lost, if you're just using the link:yoursite.com to keep track of your backlinks, google is just not showing all of your backlinks. Try their webmaster tools and you'll see all of your backlinks.

 

Just keep on building your site. This is just the case of your competitors doing a better SEO than you.

 

How old is your site? Check out those that are ranking high and see where their backlinks came from...

 

There is something going on with Google. It is effecting a lot of sites..

Even my site (one year old) is facing these problems. Yesterday morning it was on first page then yesterday night on second page then today it's again on first page. Don't know what's next.. And my site was on first page for around 4 or 5 months..

 

The same thing happened on my sites too. As someone deleted my link before the google PR update.

 

keeps happening to me and i guess most people, one week im on page one the next page two, very annoying

 

Google dance or a backlink update could be a possible reason.

Your site may be penalised for bad SEO techniques, if you have lost backlinks this won’t help.

u need to build link based on that keywords.

 

u can check your primary keyword which is bouncing in google.

one of the reason for this is that you have optimized your site for that keyword.

 

You must be buying blogposts with your keyword. When you buy new blogpost with keyword it get backlink from homepage with high pr and you get good rank in SERP, but once the blogpost is out of homepage it may be pr0 and you lose rank in SERP and Google updates SERP almost everyday. This might be the reason of seesawing of your SERP.

 

loosing 30 backlinks is not much if you have plenty.
I guess its just a Google Dance. Which means, you need more backlinks to get the steady ranking.

 

Does those 30 backlinks you lost include some quality ones? If so, it may hurt you. No matter what, just keep building quality backlinks. Or this is just a google dance.

Does your site SEO every week it will help you to retain ur PR. Update your site thrice a week.

 

Its not the thing to loose hope ... fight back with more and more content.. ups and downs is ther in google and its common. you should focus on more content.. and hope for the best... gud day.

 

SEO isn't about getting to page and then stopping. Your SEO campaign has to be continuous, keep trying and you will back to number 1.

 

Keep building your backlinks and it will stabilize at it's ranking. Google dances your site around as your building your links

 

Maybe you forgot to do SEO. Your website is like a baby, and the rank is like its health; wht I want to mean is that: If you don't take care of your baby, its health will go bad or worse; so if you forgot to do SEO job,the website's rank will also fall behind because your competitors keep doing it all the time. So just pay attention to this key point, and spend some time and ernergy on SEO everyday, I'm sure the rank will return to what you expected.
