    Hi guys,

I recently got banned from google adsense, and I don't dispute the decision, i asked a few friends to click on the ads, in the end i only amde a few $, but thats not the point, i know I shouldn't have done it. My problem is that I had just started trying to use adsense properly and built a proper high quality website.I am now left without an account and therefore have no way of making money through this site. What I was wonderign is what is the next best thign t Adsense, bearing in mind I can't use Yahoo as I am in the UK.

Thanks guys and please dont judge me just because I got banned, im absolutely gutted but know I did something wrong, and I still want to be able to make money from real traffic....

What kind of site are you looking to put your ads on? Some sites do better with some affiliates/ad networks. In the meantime, you can try running Adbrite.

There are other PPC sites available, although I do not know which give good results, clicksor I think are the next biggest, but I am not sure.

What you can do though is build the website anyway, sign up maybe for some affiliates and see if they can payout something.

YPN will come outside USA at some stage, so may be an option in the future.

For now though, there isn't anything you can really do but build up the site, increase traffic and maybe then even get to the position where you can offer advertising direct to companies...

IF you are still interested to get YPN legally, i can help you.
Only because you are living in the UK. ( or most part of Europe. )

Go to this url and sign up with this company called OMGUK and they have a joint venture with YPN and allows webmasters outside US to earn from YPN. This should be the 1st step YPN is stepping out of the US..

Please dun do anything silly now. Send me an email at to thank me.

Have you tried pop up programs? Also advertising campaigns such as fastclick. Try using them :).

thanks for the advice guys, I understand the easy option be just to flame me for getting banned, but I appreciate that you havent done that, I'll consider the advice about YPN and have also read that MSN Adcenter will be coming to the uk in mid-august.

For now i will simply try and make the best site possible with the most traffic.

I think this could work out well, before I was constantly thinking about the ads, now I am more concerned with content and am not putting too much pressure on myself.,.

i dont think popup banners will make some bucks as most users block popups. i have tried it with my site (1500 unique hits and 4 month old site) but i am not recieving more than 1$ from it.)

try adbrite - it is difficult to get advertiser though

If MSN Adceter does come to the uk in mid-august it will be good - as at least am hoping to be able to use as alternative ads as I have tried various alternative ad places when google had no ads to display on a blog of mine, but so far they have all shown very poorly targeted adverts and very limited adverts and none have earned 1 click.

I had tried each alternative for at least 1000 views before pulling them - one ad network I pulled after a day because it was just full of junk ads linking to itself (basically was some form of adspam campaign that it generated live links to its own page - I forget the name of it)

It is rare that google doesn't provide any adverts, however, a good viable alternative to adsense that is freely available outside of the USA would be good for comparative purposes.

Your wrong I guess. My company makes living from pop ups and is the most way to earn money. This only comes when you get a lot of traffic. For example if you get more then 15k visitors daily.

not a big deal buddy signup again with your parents name with different address, like someone of your family may be working in some office, let his signup and put his office ad on adsense,if you feel it won't work change domain with same content and signup with your family members name ,this works,

Also, don't discount the possibility of issuing a successful mea culpa to the AdSens abuse team.
