    Factions? what factions?

Jehovah witness, mormons, christ scientist, scientology, budism, hinduism, etc??? They have their own religions and are not related.

Gworld I have off, because frankly, since that kiddie porn/DMOZ thread, he fizzled out. Yo Yo left so there was not need for ignore. But now he seems to have returned... There may be a need yet.

Trouble is the posts are quite amusing. I've only ever felt compelled to use ignore when someone became either abusive, or just completely annoying.

Anyway, what I find truly ironic is how I have no problems discussing this type of topic with Christians, Jehovah, as well as Atheists'. Everyone seems to have a differing opinion, though many similar on the subject. It only seems to be those angry at the world or God that seem to go nuts on the subject.

And banging on your door at 8am isn't forcing your views on others?

I still subscribe to the fact that you lot only get to contemplate 'who' designed everything because you have evolved to do so.

Why all the different religions if Christianity is the right one? Surely God doesn't want them to burn in hell?

Anyone ever notice those that claim to hate religion only ever attack Christians and Jews? Usually the same people (except a few: Joel, ly2 come to mind) will defend islam. I guess they are afraid Christians will pray them to death.

I'm going to suspend disbelief for a brief moment and assume that this is true. I will assume that God made the water needed for a flood. Why, then, is there no evidence consistent with a global flood? Unless God is deceiving us, the evidence should still match. It doesn't. The flood did not happen. Get over it.

What if by the remotest chance the Koran is correct? This argument is particularly absurd because every one of the world's religions could be accidentally true. So what? Why should I accept any of them? I value no religion above any other.

So yo ucan use miracles to cover up all kinds of absurd beliefs.

What if God picked a fat one from his nose and dropped it on the earth and that killed the dinosoars (which he created for a bit of fun) and then decided to create a dumb ass monkey race called man?

What if a giant ball of spag decided to create man?

Lets all pull dumb stories from our arses and call it God.

The great thing about God is that he never asks you to believe in him. why do those who don't feel so threatened by something they don't believe in?

It's not free will at all... We think it is but it's not. God has ordained who will go to heaven and who won't already according to you lot.

Or are you telling me that a being who transcend time and matter can't see the man made future?

Where does it say that he can transcend time again? I believe that is a manmade construct.

And you believe something that I may not believe. does that make you threatening in my eyes? Nope. Seems disbelievers have a little inferiority complex that needs dealing with.

Take a look at christian/muslim's track records and you'll see why they might be percieved as a threat to "non believers"

You're a hero! Nay, a martyr! Risking your life for your beliefs on a daily basis. You must cringe in fear lest a christian look upon you with disapproving eyes.
