As you can see, we are just using the main site theme temporarily. They want to create a new home page that bears a resemblance to their main site, but needs to be different enough to have its own identity and "flavor". They want it sleek, clean, and corporate. Since this is a charitable foundation site, it should have a positive feel, and use pictures of happy, hopeful, triumphant people. After a long wait, I have some feedback from the client. They are a little slow with responses; I am really sorry for the delay. There are three entries that are in the running. I suggest all candidates read all feedback and use it in your final design; there may be a runner-up prize: Aaron700: Pic in header needs to be changed. No using pics from competitors sites. Please use iStock.com to find something original. Also, this client is really emphasizing that they want it to read like a story, and not so much like a textbook. Make it more picture-focussed and a little brighter. Radutrifan: No need for a gallery on the side bar. As I stated to aaron, client really wants this site to read like a story (as opposed to a textbook), and be picture focussed; however, the pictures should be in-text with the copy. They really like your header design, but they want a different picture than the man with arms out. I may have been a little overly-descriptive when I used the word "triumphant". Keep it happy, positive feel, but not rejoicing. Badmasketa: They actually liked your first entry better (didn't like the $ icon). They really like the dots/lines you used for content separation. Please remove the gallery on the left sidebar and use a large picture under the header. This is a pretty good example to follow (but do not copy exactly): intranet.chghealthcare.com .
