i have a free homepage(myhomepage.freehost.com) at a free hosting site like geocities. that site allows users to put up their own ads. now does google allow users to have adsense on their free homepages which are under a domain name that they dont own? thank u
oh thats good news .. but did google state anywhere that it is allowed? wats the confirmation? thank u
Depending on the content of your free homepage, why not consider opening a blog at http://www.blogger.com? Blogger is owned by Google and they are happy for you to run Adsense on your blog. How cool is that? Free blogging, free hosting and you can run adsense and maybe make some cash. Paid to blog. Maybe. If you have the targeted traffic, of course.
You can do that, you can have adsense ads on free hosted homepage. Only thing is, before submitting this to google, make the homepage content rich and without under construction pages. Also, blogger.com is a good idea, if you want to have free blog and no hurdles in having adsense ads. My Meso blog in sig... lol... hopefully google will like it!
You cant have 2 types of 'context' ads- Google doesnt want direct competition with its adverts. I use Amazon Affiliate links and Adsense and thats not a problem. Free sites are fine, but Blogger would be much better, as they said; easy to use and owned by Google. Google also states you can put your code on as many sites as you like.. As long as you meet their TOS (no spam etc).
Blogger is also free. Best bet is to go with Blogspot blogs. You can how ever put ads on free hosting services. Check with the free hosting services TOS and better to check with google too . ~G
i think it's ok for google, if freehost.com does not put their adsense to every page. this is important. only one adsense account must used on one page
First Google has to approve you... If you expect google to approve your free homepage then you musst be dreaming.... They wont!!!
It should certainly be ok with Google: I had a year in my early adsense days just starting to use it with a website on a free webhoster...
Wow, this IS an old thread. I'm pretty sure you're not allowed, but as suggested before, just use blogger. Does anyone really use geocities anymore?
You should be allowed as long as you have content and the free web provider doesn't put up it's own ads
