That list is right-on... There are a few shortcuts if you know how to develop. Such as building RSS feeds from the content you are generating... Spinning... Etc.. But it boils down to what you have listed there... It's a solid list.
For me, article writing (build internal links a lot) submission to social bookmarks blog commenting forum participation
Good list, I agree with it. Wish I had that time, but it does give a perspective on the relative importance of each effort, which I agree with also.
Do you work full time online promoting your sites? otherwise what you mentioned is not possible, in my opinion.
Steveeyes, I like the way you organize your different methods of link building. For me I do more article writing and adding new content to website. I try to build more quality links. I don't like directories that much anymore as I haven't seen much results out of it. And besides, I'm not sure who actually uses directories to search for things anymore. And if nobody is using them why would search engines even place weight on them, let alone the links they have.
I agree directories don't have much weight for searching....consequently I do it for backlinks mostly. I think I mention at least once or maybe twice now in this thread that both myself and my wife work on our internet endeavors together. I have a full time job outside of my sites. I automate as much as possible. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it. I'm not saying it isn't a lot of work but it can be done. Actually, I would of thought as most here do, that it isn't possible or at least desirable. But after reading DP threads from some top notch webmasters who posted, it became evident how much work and effort they did to get to where they are. I decided I either follow their lead or stay where I'm. Also I learn from some of the best here at DP, that it does take time and patience. I guess we are at the mercy of google's time table for updates, etc. My hope is that a year from now, my efforts will of paid off.
steveeyes, I like how you have organized everything. I do have a question though about RSS submissions. How can one go about doing them? I will do a search to learn further information, but any tips would be appreciated as well.
blog commenting - 1 hour forum posting - 1 hour article submission - 1 hour directory submission - if the directory is good
Article writing the by far the most effective, but you will find very few people who actually take the time to do it.
Its really gud to organise the work in such a perfect way. Thanks for sharing, i will also use these link building techniques to get links but never scheduled the timings. It depends on the website for which am working and the work am doing for it.
your timetable is good but i never follow any strict schedule .. I just use it randomly and I believe that is the best way untill you dont forget any method for a long time.
