    Hey Guys,

    I have been working on one of the blood donating websites. It's ranking well on couple of keywords in Google and MSN. And, It was also ranking well in yahoo for couple of keywords.

    However, from last two weeks site has lost ranking in yahoo. I looked into yahoo site explorer, I have resubmit feeds but after couple of days it still showing no indexed page, nothing in site status...:confused:

    Right now, I'm working only on article submission and promoting through social networking site to get registered users.

    What's wrong with Yahoo? Is there any suggestion? Please help...

    I'd analyze the attributes of each of the top 10 sites. Do a Yahoo search for your keyword and get the this info from each site:
    * url that ranked
    * page title
    * meta-description
    * meta-keywords
    * h1, h2, h3 tags
    * keyword density in their content
    * image alt tags
    * words in bold and italics
    * on-site text links

    Then I'd also look at their backlinks very closely. Try to get the same backlinks from their top ranked backlinks. IBP and SEO Elite will save a lot of time in this effort. IBP for the comparison, SEO Elite for the backlinks.

    Once you have all of this info then update your site to be better than theirs.

    It takes some time, but you'll unveil many gems that will help your future SEO efforts.

    Hi RockyMtnHi,

    Thanks for the reply and it's really a great suggestion. Well, I did little bit exercise on it and my site was ranking well for couple of keywords in Yahoo but suddenly my site lost from Yahoo and that's what my main concern.

    You dont want to over-do it with article submissions, it is possible that someone has reported ur site to yahoo.
