What i need: I need a website developed for my new company. The aim of the website is to allow tradesmen (carpenter, landscaper, labourer, ETC.) to find work from other tradesmen who are offering work, so basically - a job website. The website must cater too: Tradesmen who are looking for work. Tradesmen who are looking for workers. The website will need to be quite advanced, have a backend, databases, clean code, search friendly URLs, etc. I will be making this website free for the first year, however users must create an account. Once an account is created, the user needs to be able to search jobs from a list of categories (checkboxes) and have the option to enter his postcode(zip code) and to show jobs from around the area, these are typical functions you will see on any job website, and I would require such features to be implemented. If you would like to see a similar site of what I have in mind, head over to hippo.com.au. A clone of this with back-end would be fantastic. Try creating an account and having a look around the site to see how it works. I would also like an integrated forum into this site. (note not a VB forum that members will have to register again). There will be two types of members, those who are looking for work, and those who need employees. The members who are in need of employees will have the ability to post up to 3 ‘ads’ per month. These ads will just have contact details, what is required, location, etc. Once this is submitted it needs to be approved by an admin, this is why a quality back-end must be built. I have researched job site scripts and I am okay if you choose to use one, I will pay for the license. However I will need to know the name of the script and how comfortable you are with it before we go ahead. Obviously if the developer I choose wishes to use a script the payment will be less than building it from scratch. This is a lot different in comparison to ‘I just want a clone of hippo.com.au’ so my budget will be up to $1500 USD. I would offer more but the current state of the Australian dollar is dismal. Other notes: I would prefer PHP, however I am open to ASP/ASPX/.NET (as I have a linux webserver) I will want to see past work, so if you have some send me a link! I don’t mind where you are from, however excellent English skills are necessary It is 3am here in Sydney, so apologies for any spelling mistakes. If any of the above is unclear it would be best to ask questions here rather then PM'ing me. Mods note: I have requested my other thread to be locked. Thanks Cheers, Roflux.
IMO, The requirements are very much clear in terms of requirement , There are few things that we may require to go further with the work which we have PM'ed to you. Let us know if you any further queries
Thanks everyone for the huge response. I have received about 50 offers, I'm going to narrow that down to 10 in the next few days. If you would like to work on this project you have 48 hours to PM me, so this is your last chance! To everyone who PM'd me, I will try answer you all however i'm very busy at the moment. Cheers.
Dropped you a message in your PMB along with samples of past works. I have sent you best ones that we have done... Wish to hear back from you.. Thanks
