Esyndicat or PHPld?

Well im with you dude, PHPLD is da best

 

I do like the the eSyndicat Pro

 

If anyone using phpLD ever does have a problem or needs help, all you have to do is head on over to the forums.

both are similar and great scripts and the eSyndicat PRO version has a little advantage over phpLD 3 you also creat .html extension pages in esyndicat from changing the .htaccess

 

Sorry man but I see you didn't really think of wich's the best. It's far from the only advantage. Besides, I believe there's a mod that makes phpld 3 to create html extension page.

I quite new around here, this is actually my first post.

I am a developer of phpLD 3.0+, and I was curious how other directory scripts work, so I tested eSyndicat and two others.
I don't want to advertise now for phpLD, but from my point of view (as coder) and what I've seen in the code, phpLD it's much more stable, flexible, has more functions, and is more secure than any other tool. The second vote goes definatly to eSyndicate.
All other that I've seen are far away from the level of phpLD and eSyndicate.

With the comming 2 versions of phpLD (3.0.6 & 3.0.7) you will also have a very easy to use admin panel and more important, it will be able to handle on all features really huge databases.

And now the short version of this post:
...my vote goes to phpLD

I have just tried ESyndicat and can say that the support is great. I'll try phpLD on another site and see how it compares though.

• $10 - Access to private supporters forum (optional)

You can still get phpLD 3.0+ for $25 and let's say you pay also for the private supporters forum +$10 and it's still cheaper than eSyndicate. ($35 phpLD vs. $49 eSyndicate).

I'm working on my directory now and its on a niche, based on phpld. but will take few more weeks before I can release the beast . the software is not that difficult to master, but the mod is another story.
