WTS: ► Unique Proxy Blog (The Proxy Business)

Hey all.

I have been working on a big project for about a year, and now it's finally taking off. This requires me to use all my time and energy focused on this project, and I no longer have the time to work with my other websites.

I am selling all my websites. So here it goes..

Background:
I started The Proxy Business in December, 2008 for a few different reasons:

1. Credit the proxy webmasters that make unique proxies
2. Help new proxy owners succeed, and see the potential of this business
2. Innovate the proxy business, and inspire others to do the same

I have been writing proxy website reviews, proxy top list reviews, proxy tutorials, interviews, started a proxy experiment (twitter vs newsletters), and so on.. This is something I want the new owner to continiue doing, hopefully.

The response from other proxy owners have been very good, and I think many people have waited for a proxy blog like this. Now it's your turn to continue.

I recently had a designer to create a new logo (the current online). I think I payed $8 for this.

The site currently has 7 subscribers through feedburner.

Promotion:
I've used The Proxy Discussion Thread and Twitter to promote my articles. With this beeing said, I have just been focusing on writing quality content instead of promoting it, so there is a lot of potential for more traffic.

It has been submitted to ProxyDirectory.com ($2.99), and a google search results in 903 backlinks for theproxybusiness.com.

Income:
I haven't focused on monetizing this yet, as for same reasons with promotion, I've been focusing on building quality content before trying to make money of it.

The site is set up as an ProxyKey affiliate though, and has generated 1 Trial. I've written a review of ProxyKey, which is linked to at the front page of ProxyKey.com. In the long run, I'm sure this will be profitable

Under The Hood:
The websites is running on Wordpress, and uses a free, modified template which you will get all the needed files to (including PSD's).

A few WP plugins is installed for the "Submit a Proxy Website" function, etc. I will include all this in the sale.

Future income:
If done correctly, you can earn money from selling proxy website reviews and affiliate programs. I truly belive this can be a very profitable website. Sadly, I won't be a part of it.

Important:
I want to sell this website to a genuin proxy interested webmaster. Even though I won't be able to work on it anymore, I still want to see this website help innovate the proxy business. Off course, I can not require this, but hopefully the right person will bid

i'm considering bidding, i acually used to read your blog and it inspired me to start my own proxy related blog so it will be a shame to see you stop writing on this one. The content was great ! i have finished putting mine together and will be launching it in the next few days.

There is no end to this auction, as I really want to find the perfect buyer who sees the value and potential for this blog. I personally think the BIN is to low, concidering all the hours of work and research put into these 18 articles, but it's been set at $60.
