He was crying because he thought no one liked him because he was black. He finally realized last night that no one likes him because he's JESSE JACKSON.

He was crying because America just proved it has grown up a lot in the last 8 years. Sometimes the worst choices (George W. Bush) can be great lessons. At least enough Americans learned from that mistake to not make it again.

Oh yeah and a biracial man just elected President. That's kind of a big deal if you're a black person (or even if you're any kind of person who cares about civil rights.) But I guess you know that. You just want to spread more of your hate and ignorance.

He's probably crying because no one is going to pay attention to him anymore.

Do you think that makes him racist? I am guessing it does because you quoted something I said earlier about my own mixed race that somehow made you think I was.

    That was hilarious!

    That too.

Generally those that are calling people racist, more often than not, are the racists.

Its kinda like that homophobe character in "American Beauty" that ends up being gay.

Being stuck in a closet is one thing, but directing hatred onto others to make yourself feel better about your own demons. That's pretty sad.
    That is was.

Jesse Jackson and others like him planted the seeds from which Obama has flowered. He was crying merely because he had realised all the hard work he and other activists did for all those years, often risking their lives, had opaid off.

The likes of Jesse Jackson, MLK, Malcolm X (whether you like them or not) did much more for black America than Obama, Powell, Rice ever did. As black Americans, they are living the good life, not so those that struggled for equal rights and justice.

    Yes, debunked.

I consider someone dismissing Powell's exhaustive reasoning as to his endorsement, and ascribing it entirely to race ("of course - two black guys"), as a racist position to take. As you know, as I have said before. It's as racist, in my opinion, as someone indicating that the only reason whites would have voted for Obama is out of a sense of "white guilt." I have felt this for some time, so I wouldn't think my view is surprising to you.

I honestly don't have any idea what you're talking about here. It seems you would like to bring this into the discussion, so as before, if you'd please provide the source or link to what you're indicating I've said or done, I'd appreciate it; I'd be glad to openly discuss anything, but need the actual material. Thanks.

    Edit: Just saw this.

I consider this a racist position. It flatly says, the only reason whites will have voted for the President elect is because of "white guilt." It's a similar position to Mia's naming Obama's speech on race a "race hate" speech; it isn't based on a personal, untoward animosity towards Mia that I consider these racist positions. It is based on the positions stated themselves - I make my conclusions, based on what I see on the page, and that's it. I have long said, if I have it wrong, I sincerely invite a reason as to why. In fact, whether it's believed or not, I would love to be proven long, in complete sincerity.

Just a note - but I don't know how many times this has happened. The above post dealt with a direct question, to a drive-by made; until it is raised again, under cover of another thread. Debunked, I challenge you to deal directly, or do as you have said you wish to do, just ignore my posts. These kinds of vague accusations without substantiation, and dodging answers given, get old, to be honest. I'm always open to an honest exchange of opinion, and never open to game playing. Thanks.

You sure can crack me up. Do you follow me around and if I am shown online here at DP think that I have read all your responses? I just read the post above and this one now, both at 9:45.

Also, do you think I care what you wrote in them? I gave up trying to say anything to you without you trying to read into what I write.

So have fun trying to make me out to be a racist or make me out to have "other meanings" behind what I said than what I actually meant. You have shown the inability to understand any sarcasm or truth, so have at it.

LOL - Perfect, classic debunked. "Do you think I care...?" Though you asked a question, which as always, I answered - believing the individual on the other end was substantial enough to warrant a response.

    I answer.

    You say,

and it couldn't be any clearer,

And just somehow it's again impossible to provide the source for your drive-bys. As always. Not like you're into game playing, or anything....wait:

debunked - IGNORE my posts, as you have said you want to do, many times; please do so now, and always. Your game playing is boring.

He follows you around, me around, and a select few. He spends most of his day viewing my user profile and watching where I post and what I do, again, along with a select few others he has on his harassment list.

This has been a pattern for years, and there is a laundry list of people here at DP that have been the victim of his continual assaults.

    You're not alone.

Hell, I ignore him and he still continues to write about me, respond to posts I make; all the while, I do not see what he is writing until someone quotes him, or someone brings it to my attention.

Like I said, its a continual pattern.

He misinterprets a lot. I credit his mistaken interpretations to the fact that he both reads and quotes posters opinions and responses out of context. Often times he has not even bothered to read the entire thread from the OP through each response. That is why he ends up missing the point, or the reality of the argument being made.

He continually name calls, implies meanings, and makes assertions that, if you read between the lines are obvious intentional attacks.

I'm not sure what is worse. The fact that he does this, or that he is allowed to get away with it.

I've asked him repeatedly to leave me alone since he cannot enter a dialog without interjecting a personal attack. I'm not sure what good it does him to continue attacking me while I have him on ignore. He's essentially talking to himself. Its pretty obvious he is trying to elicit a response, however that can only happen if someone either tells me about it, or I see his attacks quoted by another member.

I really wish he could behave himself and act like an adult. Its obvious from his grammatical skills and prose that he is learned. Sadly his arrogance and attacks of other members negate any positive one might gain from his opinions.

I only hope, in reading this, that he finally gets the message and stops harassing me and others. All he accomplishes in not doing so is further isolation. My guess is most P/R threads would be less cluttered if devoid of his attack cluttered diatribe.

Here's hoping that he stops, or someone at the very least uses the ban hammer to nail that point home.

I really use to like having discussions with him. Now I do ignore him, but I feel sorry for him. The way he swung over to being on the attack, not able to reason and purposely reading into things that are not there has me thinking that he is under the control of a substance that has clouded his abilities. So, North, again with all sincerity, get help if that is the case.

Lots of words. Customarily, Mia has chosen to join another poster's disingenuousness, and trash my person, over answering a very simple question. Since he claims to "ignore" my posts (yet was originally on the thread moments after I made my last post, as usual), if anyone cares enough to either quote me, or ask the question that's been asked for quite some time, it might clarify some things.

It's quite simple, Mia. Across many issues, I go on your words themselves to form my conclusions as to your beliefs. You may continue to try to trash my person, or join others in an attempt to call my person and character into question, or you may, at some point, simply answer the following; one example out of dozens:

As to "personal attacks," Mia, it doesn't fool anyone, but 1 or 2, apparently: you've continually called me insane (in all its variants), a traitor to my nation, you've attacked my family life. I'm interested in moving on, to be honest, and have asked you in sincerity to defend your position. If you cannot muster a reply on substance, there really is no other excuse to be had.

    Edited to add:

And, moments after Mia's post, debunked comes running, once again, to call me insane, and an addict of some sort; this, over a single substantive reply, as usual. Gents - you may believe such displays help you, but they only shame you.

Same here. Unfortunately something happened and he snapped one day. He obviously recognized that because he even went so far as to announce his departure from DP and admitted that he had a problem. Sadly like so many unkept promises he did not follow through on that promise.

I ignore him not only because of the fact that his posts of utter delirium clutter up the usual flow of ideas and expression of opinions, but because I got sick of his threats and baseless accusations.

He's got me confused with another poster and continues to attack me for something I never did. When he realized I'd had enough of his crap he took to PM'ing me, where you can obviously get away with physical threats without repercussion.

For a while he had others convinced I'd said or done something I never did. Sadly those same people are now finding out the truth as they become his next target of attack.

I only hope that it stops.

Mia, you're again calling me insane, and now, lying in saying I've "pm'ed you with physical threats?"

I'll repeat: the both of you appear to need to join each other in this kind of display, over answering a substantive question. It shames only you.
