    Obama Implodes In Georgia; McCain Leads 56% To 38%

    Obama campaign to shift personnel out of Georgia

    ATLANTA — The Democratic presidential campaign of Barack Obama is shifting personnel out of Georgia into more competitive states such as North Carolina.

    Staffers confirmed the movement of resources on Tuesday. The move comes nearly three weeks after the Obama campaign dropped its TV ads in Georgia.

    Campaign officials declined to say how many of some 75 paid Obama staffers will be redeployed and denied that the move signals reduced expectations in the state.

    And in a related story FactCheck.Org issues a statement calling McCain's use of it's data, "Less than Honest", and set the record straight.

    You can read my spin, or go straight to the source..

    And here I thought Obama was the one that was supposed to be by any means necessary.

    .....by the way, isn't the election in November ?

    If internet perceptions really were reality the most important topic in Americas selection of a new leader involves lipstick and livestock, and Ron Paul is winning the race for President. The net is a whole different world.

    Palin is just kicking ass and taking names.

    I really feel like she should be President, as she has the track record that I'm proudest of.

    People who vote based on race and gender are not quite all there, and they're going to be sorely disappointed if that's their sole decision making factor. :/

    Why do you support Palin? She is against Woman's rights and everything that the McCain campaign presented her as is a complete lie.

    Not being pro abortion and being against womens rights are not the same thing.
    That's like saying people who support the death penalty also support killing children. It doesn't even make sense.

    LOL - Seriously
    Ummm... yeah. The woman that beat a couple of guys out to become the governor of Alaska is AGAINST womens rights...

    The people FOR womens rights are those suggesting she's wrong to run for public office because she has children she to care for.
    Everyone I've heard say that so far was supporting the Democratic ticket.

    Nice to see you give women so much credit for reason and logic. Remind me, which candidate do you favor?

    No, Rob, she's against women's rights when she would force a woman to carry the seed of a rapist, or incestuous asshole, to term. Tragic irony to note, that while Sarah Palin would soothingly tell a rape or incest woman that her forced pregnancy was a great blessing, under her stewardship, Alaska leads the nation in sexual assaults and rape. Here, from State Rep Kevin Meyer - Republican:

    http://www.housemajority.org/print.php?id=108&t=press25

    And Palin would have each and every one of those rapes - the highest figure in the nation - be forced to term.

    So, no, while she's an "environmentalist" busy blasting wolves from the air;

    or "fighting big oil" while suing the Bush administration for the right to remove polar bears from the endangered list in order for her to pursue her land grab for more Big Oil;

    Or taking her tips from Cindy McCain on how best to cram for a foreign policy exam:

    or while she's a "Feminist" dancing merrily along with Sen. McCain in effectively opposing equal pay for equal work,***

    sorry, let's get real.

    Sarah Palin is the antithesis of the years of struggle, achieved by honorable women, to gain the same right to citizenship afforded men. Sarah Palin's wish list would throw the women's movement to the stone age.

    **** We talk all the time about "words" v. "deeds," in this election. I'm personally sick of hearing this with respect to Obama's candidacy, while god forbid anything touching the sacred purity of Palin's candidacy, is left untouched. The fact is, McCain and his running mate oppose equal pay for equal work, because they don't believe a law requiring an action to be filed within 180 days should be changed. Now - who among us can say we know the pay of others in comparable positions? Who among us can say we know such a comparable pay within any period, much less 6 months? Yet the McCain team would sneeringly pretend they are for it, when they are factually against it. Again, get real.

    Tragically, a goodly number. We have propelled a beauty queen winner from Wasilla, Alaska to a national stage, and though it seems it delights many as a glorious highschool homecoming (the Christian Science Monitor is spot on):

    http://www.csmonitor.com/2008/0910/p09s01-coop.html

    Taking anything of this for other than what it is, an inglorious, cynical sham, well, honest to god, America, I weep for thee. Karl Rove and his ilk doesn't give a warm fuck about America, or American values. Having once tapped an effective strategy, they will play it again, and again, so long as we citizens fail to shake the dust from our brains.

    I think Palin identifies with more women than what you might think. I think you may be portraying her in a more negative light than what is really there. For example, when has she stated she didn't want equal pay for women? Or, when it comes to drilling in Alaska, when has she waivered on that issue?

    Opposing abortion is not to oppose womens rights. It is to support the right to life.

    In reality, white women voters obviously feel that she holds their values much more than one might think. There was a 20-point swing among white women voters since the Republican National Convention.
