Actually I am probably more involved in politics in this country than you are, seeing how I am actively supporting a candidate I believe in without being jingoistic. It is beyond me why you think resorting to childish ad hominem attacks would even be logically valid in a discussion over a locally held tradition that is participated in by Hindu's. Do you have a problem with the Hindu religion? You seem the type to have a problem with any point of view that disagrees with your own. However, verbal attack, abuse, and otherwise mudslinging only shows the weakness of your own arguments - and furthermore the tangent you have used them at is quite odd, considering the information previously given in the thread.

I am quite American, and am what I would consider as a Patriot - however I am in no way a jingoist, or a verbally abusive person who finds using forums to spout hate as a good use of time.

I saw this on CNN earlier today and passed it around the office... I've seen some weird rituals, but that one had me laughing my arse off... Strange. The title made it sound like babies were just being tossed off a building.. When you watch the video you realize they actually lived.

It kinda reminded me of Cat Tossing, or even worse, Midget Tossing... Now I've seen it all... Hopefully CNN will not have any tossing the salad videos.
