Yaroslav - You do realize that the keyword stuffing in your sig is giving you absolutely no SEO advantage, right? (In fact it probably is hurting it)

How does DP beat fraud clicks? I mean, thread starters who click on the ads themselves hoping to get more profit.
Sorry if this has been asked before...

You can have an adsense account just by owning a blog. Google says that there should be a site of yours on which you have control on the contents. I had a domain in tripod earlier, that time my adsense account request was turned down saying that I dont have complete control on its contents (Tripod inserts their own ads on top and bottom, which is out of your control). A blog in blogger.com can get you an account easily .

You aren't shown your own ad so you can't click on your own ad.

As far as having someone else do it (or you doing it from another ip), why would someone bother and give up 50% of their scamming money. A person prone to this would just do their click fraud on their own site.

Either way, you would be banned quickly trying any one of those.

I will have to admit I have not read this entire thread and it does not matter anyway since I just joined this forum and saw a reference to this Revenue sharing venture and I'm a long way from 50 posts.

Is this against Google TOS? I'm guessing it must be fine since this thread has been going for a couple of years. I guess I'm asking will this get me banned from Google?

no it won't. nothing's against TOS with revenue sharing. if you're not comfortable with the system you can choose not to participate.

    Shawn

What happens if we see an adsense ad that is interesting and clcik on it? After all you generate your clicks from forum members. Is there any danger that we could be clicking our "own" ads if we have provided you with our publisher id and channel?

I think the idea is great - but just wonder if there is a danger of inadvertantly clicking an ad against TOS.

yfs1 - sorry to be double checking on you as I do trust your judgment but I just started my first thread (about ebooks and copyright) and out of interest I checked the source code of the thread page. All 3 google ads had MY publisher number on them.

Now I may be being stupid but that makes me think that I AM being shown my own ad.

    Can you clarify?

    Thanks
    spider
