So is Saudi Arabia. Yet somehow people from there operating under an organization from afghanistan managed to kill people in the US.

So are you trying to convince us all that Iraq is just out of range of harming the US even though it's right next to Saudi Arabia?

Apparently your pride is worth more than your family. I don't know anyone who would have such a problem with foreigners helping them save their family.

It wasn't the Iraq army that attacked you, it was normal people.

Like if an Australian shot up a mall in miami, you wouldn't invade australia.

We would if they were acting as a member of a terrorist organization based in Austrailia.

Australia would be glad to help clean up the problem if they couldn't handle it on their own.

Australia would not see it as an attack on Australia but an assitance of cleaning out the trash. Just like Iraqis do. Iraqis are happy to be fighting along side Americans cleaning up the trash.

This is a lie. In public opinion polls, the Iraqi people give their new government a failing grade, and want the US occupation to end.

And it is an occupation. Outside the Green Zone, anything goes and frequently does.

I don't know where you get your info from Kalvin, but it is woefully inadequate.

So what if they give their government a failing grade? No new government is going to be good to start. Especially when they have a war to deal with.

Are they giving American soldiers a failing grade? No.

They're taking the lead in taking out the trash so that the Americans can leave.

All people want to be self sufficient. But smart people realize that sometimes they need help to get there.

Al-Sadr has finally ordered his people to stop fighting.

This bloviating doesn't add anything to the discussion.

A majority of the Iraqi people want the US and other occupation forces to go home.

Al-Maliki started the fighting, AlSadr was just fighting in self-defense.

You really don't seem to have a good grasp on what is going on in Iraq outside of the MSM and propaganda.

Yes, the guy trying to stop the people from murdering civilians is the bad guy.

How is blowing up market places full of civilians "self-defense?"

Do you even know who Al Sadr is? Based on your comments, it doesn't seem you do.

    Enlighten us.

Who is al-Sadr leading? What are they trying to accomplish in Iraq and how are they going about doing it?

    Not playing that game.

Go do some research. You're mis-characterizing Al Sadr, just as you have mis-characterized the Iraq situation, reasons for the war, the war on terror, Islam and Vietnam.

Imperialism works without an Emperor - but collapse is inevitable for all tyranny.

So you want to accuse me of being wrong but don't want to actually educate us as to why.

It's not a game. It's called a discussion. I want to know what you know. I could research for hours, come to the same conclusion I started with and you'd just accuse me of looking at biased sources.

Go to the Al Sadr page on Wikipedia.

Read it. That would be a good start.

You are a very smart person NPT, but did you really have to ask that? Just read some of his posts.. I'm guessing for personal attacks, put specifically I don't know.

    All else aside, uh,

    What are you talking about?

Don't know whether evidence has a play in your conspiracy theory or not, but the firsthand accounts I have, certainly seem to confirm the Shoah "was," not "a massively successful piece of cinematic global propaganda that makes The Truman Show look like a hack job:

Of course, I could just be lying through my teeth, as I'm part of the machine. Or my neighbor - obvious plant. Or my grandfather in law - bought and paid for. Or the soldiers who guarded him, from Freising: actors. Now that I think of it, makes sense, patently so.

    Now, for example,

Well, I have a hunch, but let's assume I'm ignorant - I don't know - who declared War against Germany? Was it a kind of pre-emptive thing, or what? Count me really lost here.

Just curious, but did you have some proof?

Thraxed, you haven't been around long enough to know, likely, that in terms of "web buds," Kalvin and I weren't exactly bosom pals. It was a literal question, mostly professing my laziness - I just haven't seen the literal "tripping post" or posts that led to his demise. To be honest, not a top priority.

Ahh, the little known fact they don't want you to know.

So much ignorance. Just look at who is in each president's administration or the government behind the government (FED) or corporate America. Just analyze the Nasdaq 100. Check their CEO's, CFO's and COO's and a light bulb should appear.
    Or let me quote Sharon:
"don't worry about American pressure, we the Jewish people control America. The Israelis control the policy in the congress and the senate."
