Nope... I just searched every related keyphrase that I could think of and there were no results. Good Idea though.
On that note, what happens if people do start selling links via the Co-Op network? I have shared some of my weight by 'donating' links to non-profits. Whats to stop a link broker from selling network links?
Well there is a cost to your site when you put the links on it, so I guess the links you gain have a great value also as we are all beginning to find out. In fact they are more valuable to use yourself if harnessed correctly.
I haven't seen weight for sale on ebay, but I did get an email "reviewing" the ad network with someone's affiliate link in it.
Agreed, it will only give the network, and Shawn a bad name. This has detrement to all of us. Shawn should ban spamming. No-one likes it.
>Shawn should ban spamming. but how do you know if the spam is from a person in the program or from a competitor who wants them kicked out
I suppose you just have to make sure that the owner of the referal id in the spam actually sent out the spam.... But it does have to be stopped.
Good move. It's the only way to stop it ! I've not received any - and now i prolly won't either. Thanks in advance Shaun
It's better to keep the coop low profile, when it's available or even hot on ebay, SE may take actions.
I posted a thread or two about the co-op over at the v7n forums, and a lot of people are tearing it apart over there... yikes!
shouldnt be offering a good product bassman- what the hell! Don't tell them then- with or without a referrer ID, its a good find- and for giving them the information, you deserve the credit!
I did get this but wouldn't classify it as spam... Seems like a genuine recommendation to me (**** included by me):
