Zibblu's last post explains everything. You sales can't just stop one day, because of competition....These are definitely Clickbank issues.

I don't get this whole "problem" with Clickbank? Why would they knowingly jeapardise their own biz with a bad element in there?

It's like a conspiracy against affiliates or something...

Today was wonderful. Tons of hops, a non-positive number of sales (AKA: ZERO).
Also, I found ClickBank's customer service very good: they approve products within a few hours, but reply to customer service emails of a concerned publisher-to-be within... Well, I have no idea yet.

I think I might have an explanation for why you don't see any sales for 6pack Abs one...

I visited the Get Six-Pack Abs link in your signature and then visited the link for it on your site - that took me to the get-ripped-abs.html on truthaboutabs site. I then visited the order link and scrolled down.

I hovered over the 2 different payment links - first one linked to 2.mikegeary1.pay.clickbank.net and the 2nd one linked to 1.mikegeary1.pay.clickbank.net (the actual merchant id). I thought this was strange.

I then scrolled right down to the bottom of the page and found this:

So what is the GID translation when involving Clickbank affiliates?

I repeated the process to check if this was the case on a 2nd visit. I realised I had checked twice with firefox browser and decided to check once with internet explorer 7.

All 3 occasions = the same result.

On the actual checkout page, your affiliate id shows up.

Could this mysterious GID be the cause of the problem of not correctly assigning an affiliate to a sale in clickbank?

Is the GID something Clickbank set? Or is it something the merchant has set?

GID has nothing to do with ClickBank as much as I remember.
It doesn't show up on other sites...
