Dunno. I did notice on that blog a link to another blog http://sundaybrew-is-a-scammer.blogspot.com/ It's invite only, apparently (didn't know you could do that with blogspot).
WoW Been out of DP for couple of months and didnt read all this BS happening here... I thought i was the only one who was scammed by this genius scammer. I paid him $500 for articles at 0.80 cents per 100 words which sounds too good to be true but trusted him because of his posts, rep, and itraders. After almost a year i got like $50 worth of work completed by him and his wife and both are very good at lying and scamming. Great excuses everytime and promises on promises... I dont really care about the money but this asshole and his wife wasted so much of my time... well i decided to file a claim at his county small claims court and had my lawyer send him 7 days notice in which he promised to refund within 15 days I agreed again but got nothing so i just gave up and decided not to take any legal action since it wasnt feasible and i didnt have time for all that but after reading all the stuff posted here i am proceeding with another formal notice and then filing a claim for damages, loss of time and loss of opportunity. Hopefully i ll either get my money back and compensation for all the time wasted or he will have a great goodlooking record on his report for rest of his life
I just read this thread and it really makes me wonder. Business 101 teaches you that you raise prices when you can't handle the demand.
A salutory lesson in 'too good to be true', I paid him $300 in 2006 and he basically accomplished the square root of f**k all. Retrospectively, if he spent less time lying and more time working, thing might have got done. The good news is, with those tattoo's he won't be a hard man to spot if he ever goes to a conference.
It seems worse that I originally thought, this guy has been accused of stealing thousands upon thousands of dollars.
Wow, I stopped reading DP for awhile, good to see this guy finally got what was coming to him. I got 'scammed' by him ie. he didn't complete work I paid him to do, but was a pretty small dollar value compared to some that have posted. His technique was quite simple and effective. He completed lots of very small jobs, like putting up a link on his site quickly, in order to get a positive iTrader. He did tons of these little jobs, and as a result had a large number of positive iTrader results. Then it seems the people who placed large orders because of his great iTrader rating never got their work completed. Maybe this is a flaw in the iTrader system? If you ever gave him negative feedback, you would never see your work done and you could not get a refund from him or PayPal, so people hesitated to give him negative feedback. I finally gave up and gave him a negative iTrader and promptly received one back for my efforts. I feel sorry for the people who are out of pocket significant amounts. And a big lol at http://sundaybrew.blogspot.com/ love your work whoever you are.
Yeah, great blog. Maybe if you provide more details of your story it too will appear there. I wonder when the man of the moment is coming back to DP?
Anyone read this yet?: http://madeupcrap.com/2008/04/22/stalker-rapes-then-kills-well-known-blogger] I was getting all excited for a moment... then I saw the blog title! Well, I couldn't disagree with that statement!
I never did business with him, so I can't comment on that. If he was a crook, he was a crook with character. I miss the video posts on his blog.
