It seems the PR update was premature and everything is back to the way it was? Maybe the Google engineer's are trying to take into account all the feedback they got from the forums such as if amwebmaster was hoping to get a PR5 and only got a PR4? They will go back and fix the algorithms.

I hope you're right, I was getting only a PR3 when I was suppose to be getting AT LEAST a PR5

Not honestly sure mystik - thanks for pointing it out.

Going back, I did take a closer notice of the disclaimer at the bottom of the page ...

Anyone experience this and know why this is?

I don't think it's datacenters because the toolball should be hitting the toolbarqueries db, right?

    (different PR#'s in different browsers)

    Thanks

I was seeing PR update on some of my sites but it seems most of them has reverted back.

For my 10 sites. I am seeing the same results in both the browsers. May be my PRs didn't change.

All still showing NEW PR and backlinks.
I have yet to see it on the toolbar.
I Expect to see more of the same from the last few months - fluctuations day to day, hour to hour until BigDaddy is completely rolled out. At that point, Google will do yet another PR/BL rollout, and things should stabilize. I do not think that this PR, like the last, will ever truly make it across all d/c's. I am of the belief that Google had to roll out the data... something reached its limit.
