I have to admit i love to read things in print, its so much easier than reading off a screen. I'm forever printing things off the internet, reading, highlighting, re-reading etc.
Tend to find what i'm looking for in forums more than anything else. Here's why - the internet is too big. What works for some SEOs and webmasters doesn't work for everyone else. SEO techniques and efforts also vary depending on your industry sector. A journal or magazine would need huge resources, be trans-global in it's sources, probably be expensive to subscribe to and of little use to individual subscribers. Having said all that, here are two sites I've just remembered about - www.planetocean.com www.webmarketingnow.com (jerry west's news letter)
I don't know of any. I don't think SEO has enough followers to maintain a printed magazine. there are a lot of online ones which is great for an industry that changes so much.
I think that is good for a magazine (changes in the industry) because they would have something to talk (write) about p.l.u.r.
While its not strictly SEO www.totaldmag.com my mag has a lot of SEO tips each month. We would love for some contributions and links!
