I don't know how does DP deal with when people send false negative itraders.

Specially when people with 1 itraders and 37 posts sends false itraders to one having 2000 posts and 136 positive itraders.

    So, this guy - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=75921

He happened to buy paid posting service. We had already started working on his forum. I told him that the work would be completed by 26th, which happened to get delayed by 1 day or even less. The 70% work was already completed on the forums, just a small bit was left.

And this guy made a dispute in paypal and sent me a negative itrader, you can see it here - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/itrader_detail.php?ir=190797&u=22654

As not fulfilling the part. A delay of half a day is like not happening. I agree that there was a delay of sometime but work was already in the progress and I dont think I should get a negative itrader for this.

And 70% work that was completed should come into consideration otherwise what about 2 hours of my work that I spent working on his forums. It cannot be dis considered.

I am not asking for DP to ban him or do anything to that user, nor I am asking DP to ask that user to take off the paypal dispute. Money thing is my problem and I will deal with it. Even if I lose $7, thats not important to me.

But the itrader thing is happening in DP, and its not valid as well. That itrader should be removed. I care more about my reputation in DP and will not lose it just because some new comer gives me an false itrader rating even when the work was in progress, and only a handful was left. My reputation means a lot to me.

I have all the proofs, screenshots that yeah, we were working on his forum.

When I sent him a PM today, he says, too slow, we have banned you from the forums. Please Note - At the time service was bought, there was no completion date decided. So the buyer does not hold the right to send me negative itrader saying too slow and work not done etc comments. The service was bought according to my sale thread conditions which does not say the time limit within which work will be completed, my sale thread is here - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=668844 It was only on 25th that he asked when will you complete and I said by tomorrow. But still it was not like I never started working only and tried to scam. I did start working, did complete 70% but it was then I got scammed.

I am now 100% sure that his sole purpose was to get the quality posts, ban the users and also take the money back, SCAM is the correct word to describe it.

Have strict conditions, and if they were achieved, report to moderators.

If you didn't meet the promised deadline, then I guess he is unhappy. We have to be careful with things like this. I know I sometimes run behind for reasons beyond my control, but if client isn't happy or satisfied, I'd have to take the slap and wear it.

PS. Thank you for the warning of the short fuse with this customer! +

A Client's happiness can also be related to the quality offered, not just deadline. And the banning and dispute with paypal just shows the sole purpose is to cheat.
And a negative itrader should be held to those who do not start the work and run away with the money, not those who got the work delayed by half a day to 1 day, even though the post quality was delivered as promised.

Also Note, at the time the work was given, no deadline was given. It was on 25th that he asked when work will complete and I said tomorrow.

Sorry to tell you buddy, but I already started a thread about this and a moderator deleted my thread a few days later..

DP moderators can't do anything about your iTraders. Any reports you make via the "report iTrader" button can only be seen by admins, and I seriously doubt they'd take the time to look at those reports and/or take any action.

That's what I was told by a moderator. Anyways, just keep getting those positives, I guess..

Okay then. Thanks for letting me know but I thought there must be a protection. Anyways...I still have those 136 positives or even more but just 1 negative. It won't ruin my reputation enough.

The only thing I hope that not many newbies start coming and start giving false negative itraders. That'd be just the end of itaders. I'd request to close this thread since it's of no use anyway.

You got a very stupid neutral itrader. He says, this ebook should be free. I am sure this system soon will be abused with noobs, they find it fun to do it because itraders are no value to them.

I agree about the problem with new members leaving negative iTraders, but yeah... getting moderators involved in iTrader disputes would only give them more work. They already get alot of PM's everyday. Also, the thing with reporting iTraders is, well, anyone can report, but sometimes it's hard to tell who's telling the truth, and who's just trying to get rid of a genuine negative iTrader. Even if people provide evidence, DP moderators have to take the time to verify the evidence, etc. and I guess it just leads to more problems..

We aren't crying but critisizing against false itraders being given. People who cry does a lot more that what we are doing.

People who cry will create a Havoc and will claim to ban the offender, etc etc. I am just stating something that should be done, but when I got to know that nothing can be done. I sounded pretty cool and said, its all fine

Mods never get involved with iTrader. But, try reporting it.
