I remember when it was free. I think they charge for it now. I think there is a station in Russia that does it now on their nightly news cast - weather or something perhaps. We'd like it when its cold :p

Fryman, when you begin asking questions like that it seems you decided to join us outside the matrix by choosing to take the red pill. :)

That is a question I asked myself a year ago. And I've found my answer. The answer is that certain elements of our government(at the top) use Al Qaeda as a boogeyman to carry out terror attacks around the globe.

I was watching an episode of the Xfiles, and in this episode rogue government elements were going to fly planes "into the world trade center" in order to create a global threat which would make them billions in arms sales. By the way, this episode aired about six months before 911 and was from the "lone gunmen" series.

Everyone knows the biggest market in the world is arms. But you can't make money unless you have wars to fight. Therefore you start wars by funding organizations and having them blow stuff up, allowing you a larger budget in defense spending.

I'm reading a kick ass book right now called "The Iron Triangle: Inside the Secret World of The Carlyle Group." I'm learning more and more about how the big boys play. And trust me, they don't play nice.

You are just as dense if you think this is all Bush's fault and Clinton didn't have an oppurtunity to stop in during his 8 years.

Bush haters annoy me and I don't even like the guy.

yoyo never said it was all Bush's fault. Bush and Clinton are and were controlled by the same people. They are puppets, strawmen doing their jobs.

There is a much more powerful force which controls our presidents, a force that will assassinate them like JFK if they don't do "their jobs."

This force at the highest levels is not human, because it is too intelligent to be human.

    Here it is:
Sounds like I'm asking "who had heard of" them prior to 9/11, not asking if they existed...

Actually, no i didn't say that, see above.

    I Believe it's you ;)

Pretty weak dude. You asked "who heard of them" as if to say "they didn't exist" - don't play those games with me. Everyone heard of them, especially - say around the time of the first WTC bombinb, then the Cole attacks.

Actually asking if the majority of the public had heard of something, and asking if it existed are very different and seperate things.

I hadn't heard of them nor did I care to before 9/11, and I'm quite sure a large amount of people my age hadn't either.

I agree with this, Bush would have killed or captured him years ago if he had been in office.

You guys can talk and talk all you want! Al-Qaieda actually translates into "The Station." But, if you want to be silly, you can use the word "Chadda" which transltes into "Shit." My bro and I call them Al-Chadda. :) hehe

Ok, enough. We have no control over this. Plus I love that people can easily state that 90% of the world hates the US. I highly doubt that...I highly doubt that the 3 billion people in china and india who thrive because of the US economy hates us.

You only think people hate us because of the filthy main-stream media that you tune into everyday. There is more behind all of this...more than you would know.

As for Clinton, it is a FACT that he forced many special ops and teams of the NSA in the early 90's into early retirement. These were individuals who possessed incredible talents of culture and language. There were the reason why the Soviets were defeated in Afghanistan.

As for now, things are going on like you wouldn't believe. Forget about Bush, he plays little part in this. There are terrorists, of course, just ask those being slaughtered all over Africa. But we never make it policy to talk to those poor people.

    Anyways, just my two cents.

    Ismee Antoon, Ush biddia mincom.

p.s. you heard nothing of me being a member of the NSA back in the 90s. This posting will self-destruct in 30 seconds.

Yes - and just to add to that, why is it that anyone with a computer and an inquisitive mind could have told you back in March 03, that Iraq had no WMDs, and no links to al Queda, and yet the Bushies and all the major media were *apparently* out of the loop.

Sorry, I am still trying to figure out how to use these forums. My previous post did not relate to the one above it, but to another earlier one, but it is relevant nevertheless.

If you reread the cease fire from the first gulf war; you'll see that WMD's and/or links to Al Qaeda were irrelevant in terms of our right to invade Iraq again. Iraq gave us all the right we needed by not complying with the terms of the cease fire.
