Has anyone else noticed that their proxy site that is hosted by Karan goes to letsbunk.com when you use https? I tested a few of the other sites in peoples signatures in this thread that have bought from and are hosted by Karan.
For example here is my site: http://www.oneinoneout.com , but when you use https://www.oneinoneout.com it doesn't go to my page it goes to letsbunk.com. Same thing for other peoples sites....

Karan, I sent you a PM but you have not replied. Can you please explain why our https traffic is being stolen?


EDIT: oh and I just did a whois lookup on letsbunk.com and surprise surprise, it is registered to Karan Khanna. So you must be making quite good money on the https traffic that you are getting from everyones sites that you host.

The SSL support for a website is NOT free. You have to pay for it to the domain registrar OR your SSL subscriber.

Now since I own a website called letsbunk.com and which is placed on the same server as your website(s), the server recognises the https:// prefix and it automatically takes you to letsbunk.com because THAT is the ONLY site on the server for which I have installed SSL (meaning that is the only site for which I have BOUGHT SSL).

If you would like SSL support, please buy it directly from your registrar and we will install it on your website ASAP.

I am not stealing anybody's traffic out here, it's just an automatic default setting which is set by the server upon SSL installation.

So next time, please think twice before you accuse somebody.

I have not made any false accusations I have simply pointed out what I have found.

I think any webmaster would consider it "stealing" if you as the host are redirecting traffic intended for a particular site (SSL or whatever) to a site of your own. This is especially true since you have not informed me (or I doubt any other site owners that you host for) that you are doing this. If you want to do this fine, but you should at least inform the sites that you are hosting that this is being done, and give them an opportunity to opt out of a redirection of their sites traffic.

So you are saying that installing a SSL cert for one site on your server has automatically redirected everyone elses site to that one? I wonder why other hosting companies don't have that happening? I would guess it is more likely that you have intentionally altered your name servers and/or server configuration to make this happen.

Very dishonest in my opinion.

 

Well, get yourself a server (dedicated ofcourse), preferably from FDCservers.net with cPanel / WHM + Fantastico, Install about 100 websites on it, then install SSL on ONE of them and then go to ANY of those websites with the https:// prefix and you'll see, the website on which you installed the SSL loading up instead of the website you actually wanted to visit.

If you are so concerned about this issue, why don't you consider moving to some other hosting?

is it also secure https://karan.com/proxy ?

 

I have bought Karan's service too but it has been good so far except i do not concentrate on it anymore. Well, you can't accuse him like that. You're calling him a scammer? Get a life dude. In his 217 Itrader, there are never any negative feedback. But look at you. Someone already left a feedback saying you are a scammer. LOLZ.

I have obtained SSL support to be used on my site. I generated a CSR request from my CPanel, then went to my SSL provider and created a certificate, then loaded it on my site through the CPanel, but my site still goes to letsbunks.com.
