I have just launched www.targetmillionaire.com and I am just about to start promoting it, what would you suggest? I want to do a press release, does anyone know where I can get this done for free?
The same as any other website. =) PR.com and PRLeap.com offer free press release distribution. You can also try a huge stumbleupon campaign when your website launches. Take a look at: Use and Abuse Stumbleupon for Maximum Traffic. I recommend you get a designer though, as your website is really boring.
I second Raithe's opinion. You need to get your site redesigned. Or at least, change the background color and the font color. I couldn't see anything when I visited your site the first time. It causes so much strain to the eyes. Try some other background color-font color combination or do it the good old' black font in white background way. This would make it so much easier for the readers. Just my two cents. All the best. Kris
Check out the benefits of article marketing, you can get boosts in SERPs with it and all it costs is your time to write and submit articles.
At the moment I'm seeing a dark gray background with black text. Try changing the the font color to white.
It's gray for me too. Firefox. If you want it to be a viral and effective site, you'll want interesting/funny/intriguing content. Changing the graphics and colors of the site would also be a great idea. If you can come up with a really good reason for your goal or a clever way that you are trying to achieve it (there's already been many millionaire sites before), then you could do: Press Releases Use social networking/bookmarking sites Don't bother doing any of these things until you've improved your site and concept.
Does it involve 3 monkeys, a radish, and a jetpack? If so, then I know exactly how you'll achieve it!
I am seeing black text on gray background which I can barely read. Also, the site is just plain boring. I have no incentive to ever visit that site again. Your site is far from press release status. Doing a press release for that website would be a big waste of time. Invest in a redesign before a press release.
