If it weren't for us NEEDING allies, for us needing to win this war, for the horrible consequences that would happen my own person feelings are to shoot them on the spot, I have said this before and I will say it again.

This however is not logical now is it? What is the next logical step?

To me it is to follow the law, our own law, our constitution, international law, what our supreme court rules.

I do not believe any man, woman, or child not a US citizen is entitled to any constitutional protections, the only part the constitution should take in instances such as this is to grant powers and authority to our officials and our courts. This has been done, it also lays out how our court ruled, someone took me bringing up the constitution to give foreign terrorists rights that is far from the truth.

As it stands we need to follow the current law, current treaties, current rules of war which include the Geneva Convention, which our own Supreme Court ruled.

I say be as hard to them as possible under these rules, simply follow the rules, what is so hard about that? Keep them locked up indefinitely if the laws allow for it, execute them if the laws allow it, do whatever you can by the laws and powers granted legally to us to do.

To give up what we were founded on, to be lawless, to give up freedoms takes away what makes the US great!

The discussion again was with toopac and his statement that the Geneva Convention did not apply. If we 'the US' acted this way AFTER our supreme court ruled it would make us lawless. How can you not comprehend this is not calling our troops anything, it is stating if we did not give them Geneva Convention protections such as our Supreme court ruled?
