Sweet mother of Mary... No where in that thread did I mention (or even vaguely hint at) democracy and freedom speech for anyone let alone pedophiles. You are < expletive deleted> delusional.

I posted a critic of DMOZ for listing pedophile sites that advocate rape of children. You posted in the same thread and called me names, defended those listings and posted about book burning. Now you are claiming that you are not supporting those sites and you are not advocating anything. So why the hell did you post in that thread or do you still think that you can fool people by this nonsense?

Sorry Julian, I see you are struggling with your comprehension of the English language. What you have posted does not even vaguely resemble a "speech about freedom of speech and democracy for pedophiles?"

Also you are being in selective your quotes from that thread. You forgot this one.

Respect should be given where it is due and you really are the master of the hyperbole and I respect you for that art. Whereas I enjoy a good pissing match as mutch as as the next guy I think I really must move on.

I understand why you must move on. ;)

With spot light on your postings and people looking at your history of what you defend and what you stand for, that is probably your best choice.

And getting your site permenantly banned for offering a payment to an editor is free.

    Definitely a catch 22...

Though honestly, if I had a site not listable, I'd do one of two things. Change my site to comply with the guidelines, or check my category to see if it was one of the ones I'd need to try paying to get in to ;)

Honestly though, there is no need to pay an editor unless you are in the handful of spam categories in which case there is a good chance it's not an original or worthy site anyway.

People should just stick with one of the two rules

    Submit & Forget
    Forget 2 Submit

You should not be so upset just because your competitions are offering a lower price than you do. It seems the good old time when you could charge a lot of money for selling a link is coming to end. :D

I have been consistently pointing out to webmasters that the likely outcome of a pay for listing offer is their site being permanently and irrevocably banned.

You Julian, the big shot editor who claims to be able to edit in any category, have been encouraging web masters to make these offers.

And the real joke is your implication that in all of this somehow you are the one fighting corruption.

I am just showing what is happening in DMOZ since it seems you and your friends can not be stopped right now. I suppose one way of fighting you and your friends is to inform people that there are cheaper alternatives to your prices and stop you from making too much money. :D

It is always fun to look at you crawling on the ground, having to defend pedophiles and kiss every ass that you see and in the end not have very much to show for it. :D

The problem is people think dmoz has more value then any other directory, which is funny. A link is a link, there are no holy links.
For the ones who think it's worth paying 40 or more $ to get into dmoz... it's better to spend that money for some other popular directory with pr on it (if you are after pr), and you'll get more bang for the buck since listings are cheap these days...

Apart from that it's real fun reading all the dmoz guys firing at each other :)

p.s. I totally agree with the quote.
