Circumcision of infants as required by the religion of their parents. What do you think about this?

    I think it's barbaric.

well, the people who believe God has ordered them to circumcise their infant will continue to do so regardless of what non-believers think of it.

Thankfully I'm not circumcised, because my mum thought that it'd be too painful for me.
I don't see any real benefits except as mentioned about some cancers are harder to catch/get, and its religious aspect.

It is essential, to remove the threat of a number of infections that could occur, as well as cancer. I'm not talking about the religious point of view at all - i could care less.

What God orders is always better for us.
He tells us to be circumcised and today, we have come to know that there are many diseases caused without circumcision and doctors nowadays advise it.

Well I think it would be a No#1 turn off for a chick, although really it has some health benefits, although I think it is good I am still whole and haven't been circumsised..

Hah. #1 turn off for a chick ? The hell are you talking about ?
Have you been with a single woman to say such nonsense ?
I personally think it's way more aesthetic.

You guys are too caught up in this west/east dichotomy. Many cultures around the world practice circumcision. And no, it's not barbaric just because it's not practiced by your culture.

That's exactly what I was thinking lol
And secondly, religion has nothing to do with it. My family is about as nonreligious as you can get but still cut mine off. I'm glad too, I wouldn't want my stuff looking like an ant eater :D

We have a doctor in the house! Name some types of cancer that are almost unheard of among the uncircumsised?
The only cancer that could possibly be effected, penile cancer, is almost unheard of full stop.
