    Get your forum on VB script so that it atleast has the capacity to track people who creates multiple account and try to scam others.

    Change the scrip first and fore most and may be then it will be successful.

    Thanks for your suggestions but the forum is for an average computer user, not webmasters, so the script really doesn't matter. It just has to be simple & good looking.

    A little basic looking. Like virtuexru said, try to customize it a bit, make it more unique looking. It is always nice to come to a forum/site and within a second or two you know what the site is all about. You can't tell that now.

    I would put ads on first thing... not that you'll make money from it first thing, but get your current users used to it :p. I doubt any forumers will be staying either... sorry :(.

    I would balance out your colors and add in some red icons on the side of your categories listing. For the header, a store related icon would be ideal.
