This can be seen in one way or another. In this industry there are people with different viewpoints. I think its a completely wrong on Google side to control and rule this industry by controlling breath of webmasters. If Google doesn’t like paid text links then they should make Adwords a free service and rank sites according to merit. This way they will do more good to this world.. O’ Google Don’t be EVIL
View the source of buytextlinkad.com, its just an affiliate (or TLA trying to look like an affiliate to get away with buying 2 adwords ads).
I show johnchow.com at #49 for 'john chow' I show text-link-ads.com at #48 for 'text link ads' I hereby dub this penalty the "48/49 Penalty" LOL
I found that interesting; check out this: http://www.google.com/search?q=info:wwww.johnchow.com Again, perhaps Googlewashing... Until he fixes that, no telling what is really happening.
I just put up a post about how John Chow can get his rankings back. Rand Fishkin has some great points.
http://www.johnchow.com/first-alladvantage-now-the-boo-is-back/#comments Seems that 4 w problem goes back a ways... I did find this, it has a couple of links to his site with extra w's: onepowerfulword.blogspot.com/search/label/John%20Chow but the problem apparently pre-dates that.
because john chow don't care of his supplemental pages { 2130 } too ( i read somewhere, where he was talking like that way ) he simple don't have enough time to do put one robots txt file.
I guess he decided not to grovel. I don't think John Chow is going to win this battle, but if it keeps him and his site busy for a while, that's kewl. Maybe after this, he will figure out something that is of real value to do with his life other than trying to pick a fight with Google. Rich
He is trying to act more smart with the buzz and promotions trying to say he does not care about google, but for sure in some days this saga will end and finally he will come to know his mistake.
The best thing is natural links. It is better to get a a few natural backlinks then a 1000+ backlinks in a week.
