Who would be interested?

who would be interested in a mod that would allow you to manage multiple directories at once?

mainly approve/deny links simultaneously

and.. of course.. how much would you pay for it?

 

For someone managing a cluster of directories a effective tool for doing this is “Priceless”

How would it be approving? would it be from the submitters Name, email addy or site Url? or something completely different.

well.. I was thinking about something as is now.. but on that page you have one more column with the directories names appearing for each link
and you can check/uncheck boxes in front of the dir name if you want to erase/accept that link in more than one directory. so you would have to select the dirs where you want the link to appear/be erased and then click deny/accept..
anyway.. this is just in project status and just checking if anyone would be interested.

 

Sounds good, i would be interested too, i really admire the innovative approach by so many, its really helping directories to become better and i guess more mods like these are needed, mods that are of use to the directory admins and not just mods that add features for the listings.

great idea but make sure its available to only selected people at first, otherwise QBC's will go mad.

 

umm .. wouldn't than it would all have to be on one server ???

or are you trying to put out some serious server info in the codes...

also i dont know .. would it require the same database ???

Yeah, that would be the issue. A good directory network needs to be spread around.

However, perhaps it could be done as a desktop application?
The idea would be to load in each sites info, db, password, etc, and it would get the info, then you approve from there and it syncs back up with each server.

Kinda like the PRupdater desktop app by technology top list, only it does approvals.

It would be a life saver, but it would definitely need to work across multiple servers.

 

That was a good idea to have a multiple directories. But I prefer to submit our link to free directories , related and quality site.

 

well... it might be a browser based app, and you have to enter the admin user and pass for each directory once.. then every time you login to it.. it gathers the links from your directories and arranges for you.. duplicates and all...

 

New ideas are always welcome.
