Free one-way Directory

    Hi,

    http://www.he-directory.com is still accepting your links without a backlink required. It does require you to make a login so you can edit your links though, but it is quick and easy. Only information asked is account name/password/email.

    IT would be a good ideea to remove session IDs, and to mod_rewrite it.

    Just one point. With the links the way they are two things are going to happen
    1. people are going to complain about the 302 redirect
    2. people are going to ignore your directory

    I know, because I've been there. The reason you have the redirect is because you want to track how popular the link is and you need to change to a javascript onclick tracking device as Google doesn't seem to penalise these (more).

    Humans are going to enjoy your directory but until you have a critical mass they're not going to use it because you just won't have the results they need.

    To get there you have win the hearts of webmasters (or get out there and find the sites yourself) and the ONE way to do that is to give them a link which will count with Google. There's only one way to write that link - and that's as a direct link.
