I think he is trying to point out to the sheeple how things are going from bad to worse down to allowing too much power to absolutely corrupt cabals like the Bush administration.

As for me, I'm British and very upset with my Government because my Prime Minister lied to us all about the WMD threat, licked Bush's arse and did whatever Bush told him to.
Now we are in a major disaster and my Prime Minister has stepped down handing the reigns over to some fat Scottish twat.

Things like this really upset me.

I have no problem at all with the original post and in fact I completely agree that the situation has gotten way out of hand. I am in no way defending the actions of the US government in these matters.

But it still remains that the original creator of this thread does not reply to questions even though they claim to want to argue points....

I'm not referencing your posts at all; I'm referencing GTech's. It looks like "What have you done for your country lately?" is the new "low IQ angry white males," which a couple others will probably soon be parroting. I could tell you I am the Audie Murphy of the Vietnam era and you wouldn't believe it. Not that I will tell you my business anyway. The point is GTech defends GBush all the time here and doesn't like it when people don't go along.

I defend Bush too, is there a problem with that? I don't believe GTech, correct me if I'm wrong, has a problem with people questioning the policies of our government... But when people do it so idiotically, and with nothing more than mindless dribble, is what I believe irks us all. And you where referencing my post, as you quoted me not GTech.

Perhaps you should take a gander at some of GTech's post to see why he is posting his "questions." I post an article that is spot on about fascist America, and I hear "What have you done for you country?" by some one who thinks "doing something for America" means carrying water for the Bush administration and the war profiteers.

I'll tell you now if he did you, AGS, Gworld & the other loons wouldn't be posting here:D

And every one of them are unsourced and uncredited copy/paste at that. Another Sunday, another moonbat comes out of the closet.

Hardly what I would consider credible sources. Actually, "unbiased" sources is probably the more appropriate adjective here.

You can copy/paste in every forum on the internet. If the original story is BS, it is not going to become any less BS by doing a copy/past on an internet forum.

    Another Sunday, other moonbat...

It would be impossible to be this stupid. Even for you, and that's giving you a lot more credit than you deserve. Now you are resorting to lying because you are backed into a corner. Of course, selling your integrity is easy for someone like you, isn't it, briant?

In fact, what you are doing, is actually confirming something I've pointed out for a long time. Whiney liberals like yourself do not have the ability to discern between their president and their country. In fact, they are willing to sell out their country, like you, in order to rationalize and justify their hated of a president. You don't have to love Bush in order to love our country. You don't have to love Bush to stand up for your country. You don't have to love Bush to support your country. Bush isn't America and America isn't Bush.

Hate Bush all you want. That's fine. Hell, ly2 hates Bush as much as you guys do, but he damn sure won't sell his country out over it. No one could mistake that ly2 loves America and would give his heart and soul for this country. You don't see me riding his ass when he takes a shot at Bush.

My question remains. What have you done for your country besides bitch, whine, moan and complain? It's a valid question because all you've done since you've been here is bitch, whine, moan and complain.

You can't be stupid enough to believe that serving one's country means carrying water for Bush? Patriotism does not have a four year shelf life. Presidents come and go. Our country doesn't. It has good times, it has bad times. Just like a child. You don't hate your child when he's bad and only love him when he's good.

    Serving your country:

Military - active duty or reserves
    Government work
Political office, such as city council, all the way to speaker of the house
Working for a company that is contracted by our government
Or simply being a part of your country and supporting it through the good and the bad

What have you done, briant? You sit here day in and day out bitching like a little girl, never a bad word for the enemy that wants to shred our country, and cry that *you* (self-centered) want more, but the only thing you are willing to do to contribute, is bitch, whine, moan and complain.

Seems like there are so many people that bitch and moan about how bad the government is, but you really think you could do better?

What would you do, just tell all the countries to hug and get along. Sometimes decisions are made that are hard, and you can't always comprehend why these things are done but the people that do nothing except complain are useless to this great country, but I guarantee as soon as the government does something they like, they are right there saying how good the government is.

I have people at work like this, they bitch about everything, but then if something happens that benefits them directly they change there tune, but then they start bitching again as soon as the well dries up.
