In order to participate in the iTrader system, you have to participate in the deal thread, right?

So I got an infraction for 'running up post count' here

The only reason I posted that to begin with is to avoid getting in trouble for fake iTrader or something. So what's the deal? Did I actually do something wrong or not? If there is no need to post in the actual deal thread, I won't do it anymore. I always post in the deal thread so I don't get into any issues with fake iTrader. Should I keep doing it or no?

You do not have to post in buy, sell, trade thread to leave itrader, just have participated in offer made in thread.

ooohhh... I didn't know THAT.... I could have sworn it said that you had to participate in the thread to leave itrader but now I see it says must have participated in the DEAL in this thread!

My very bad... I recently told a customer that they had to post in the thread for me to give them itrader! I know better now.

Well at least I know now. I won't do it again, I thought it was part of the rules, only reason I ever posted in there. Now I have 3 infractions already. I just came off like a 30 year suspension lol

Yeah... I guess there's a confusion on how on can participate in a thread. I also used to think that one needs to post in a thread to be considered a participant but that's not needed.

That is a new info. The warning at the iTrader page is confusing
I too used to ask those who traded with me to post in my thread to reply to the thread to share iTrader.

If I've participated in the deal more than once, can I leave more than one itrader feedback referencing the same thread?

If they're technically different deals, it shouldn't be a problem since they're only allowed one thread per offer. That said, it only adds a point to their total once per user. So instead, why not leave comments in the deal thread instead? It might be more valuable anyway, since more people would probably see it.
