Why should anyone bother convincing you that? Don't you have your own eyes and hands to search and read?

People do bad things, not religions. Muslims do bad things, Christians do bad things, Jews do bad things.. They always did and will continue doing those. You can not dedicate evil or not-peaceful actions to a religion. Islam, like all other one-god religions, is not owned by the people who are a member of its community, but the holy books and prophets. So read what does it say in the book (but completely, not partial biased propaganda cutting pasting a sentence from a 100 line prayer), and judge yourself if it is peaceful or not.

Whatever your decision is, i do not think anyone will be disturbed at your own choice, as we all have our minds and eyes to read, to research and to believe.

From a western view, once upon a time Communists and Russia was evil, and now Middle East and Muslims are evil. There will be always scapegoats for those who live in the dream of an invisible enemy and in need of blood. (I do not mean all people living there or civils, you understand what i mean)

But those are all political things, we are all same, i hardly think that you can seperate me or guess which religion i do believe. I am pretty sure we live a very similar lifestyle, at the end we are all humans feeding on food, sleeping at night, working in day, have funny things to entertain ourselves..

Btw: Islam means complete surrender and obedience (in this case to GOD), by the very definition of its name. I have no idea how you can refer that meaning to a non-peace action. In fact (maybe Arabs can know this better, i dont know Arabic) it is derived from arabic words 'silm', 'selam' which points to happiness, well-being and peace..

“We” to refer to God Almighty.
"We" is used only as the "Royal WE" just as in English for royalty.

In both Arabic and Hebrew, there are two types of 'we'. One is the plural pronoun (as in English) and The second is the plural of RESPECT. 'We' is used in the Qur'an when describing God Almighty in the second sense.

I have studied hebrew...the only "we" in Hebrew refers to the PLURAL 1st person...which in sense is more than one person....again, I am wondering why choose "we" instead of God...or is it God that is talking? In that case, again who is the "we"? Other than Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?
