Recommendation for Bidding Web Directory Owners!

Recently there have been many bidding web directories coming up and most of them are using script from phplinkbid.

The script is easy to modify, redesign, etc but I would like to bring notice to Bidding Web Directory Owners that their link detail page (the page where you increase the bids which acts like a detail page) give out a "nofollow" link to the link owner.

Kindly edit your link.tpl file and edit the following line:

<div class="link-date"><a href="{link_url}" rel="nofollow">{link_url}</a></div>

PHP:

edit as:

<div class="link-date"><a href="{link_url}">{link_url}</a></div>

PHP:

I am working on my own bidding site giving it a unique look and experimenting with the codes when I came across this nofollow tag being used.

And as far as I have seen nearly "all" Bidding Web Directory Owners are sending out nofollow links in detail pages.

Does everyone use PHPLinkBid? I know we built a totally different solution for Chris... I just am wondering what others are using.

 

Yeah, I noticed and removed those from my directory (Top Ten Link Bids) last night when I was modifiying it to have deep links. That's a stupid place to have a no-follow.
