Im new to marketing and I was thinking of joining affiliates that have convincing sales letters. Then promoting my link on miva or google adwords without having a website or anything. Has this worked for anyone, if so how well did it go?
The "Google Cash Method" of using Adwords to drive people directly to a salespage works for alot of affiliate marketers. I prefer to drive them to a "Squeeze" page and capture their name and e-mail address. You can then market multiple affiliate products/offers to them. If you can build a responsive list, it will make you significantly increase your profits.
Yes it works. To get a high conversion rate, choose a sales letter that convinces and is self explanatory.
Definitely direct to a page for building an email list. It's better to buy your own domain anyway, even if all you were going to do is forward it to an affiliate link. That way you can always change programs with only 10 seconds notice without having to reset all of your campaigns.
There is no point in building a huge list if they don't even open your e-mails. You have to give the useful and/or interesting information and build a "relationship" with them. A small responsive list can do much better than a huge list. The name of the game is building rapport and earning their trust.
Yes it works but it will be better to send them to a page for building an email list. Either way will work but make sure your keywords are very targeted. Ivan
Perfectly said, the best thing you can do is make a squeeze page, grab that persons email and then send them to the main site. Google adwords method is amazing, thats the first thing that I used that worked the best in my affiliate marketing campaigns. Be careful, learn to master Adwords first or your pocket will go empty before you know it. I recommend Perry Marshall's Adwords E-book, very helpful!
Ok thanks, I don't have much money in my bank account right now (only about $35) so I don't think Ill have the money to build a website, besides, I don't really know how to build a good affiliate website to get emails and convince people. So I think Im going to stick with directing to an affiliated product thru miva. And Im only 15, so I don't don't really have a lot of time either.
Another teenager in marketing. I like that (I'm an 18 year old college student). My advice to you is, if you have free time, try to learn the basics of affiliate websites, squeeze pages, email marketing, etc. if you think you might use them some day. You have a very limited budget, so it's to your own benefit to learn about effective PPC marketing so every penny you spend counts.
Good day, Take your time don't get all excited about getting into ppc right away. Do some research and believe in your product by purchasing it.
