Imagine getting your grubby little hands on one of these relics. Some of the domains go back to 1985. 1985 for F*CKS sake!
I remember 1985 pretty well. I was riding around on a BMX and burning ants with a magnifying glass. Should have been buying domains instead. I always thought since about 1990. But I guess that list proves me wrong.
I would take one for a million if they would give it. http://symbolics.com/ is one of the worst designs I have ever seen.
I just realized that symbolics.com is only a PR5 with a PR6 subpage. Kind of crappy for the first website ever.
i registered a domain in 1999 or 1998,it was about $85/2 years ,and you must registered at least 2 years(in china).
There are some good domains there. It's interesting to see which companies jumped on to the train in the early days assuming xerox and other companies actually were the original buyers at the time.
Pretty much all of the domains would have been an actual company name though, wouldn't they? I mean, I doubt anyone would have bought one expecting to sell it on when its PR went up
