Why I want Karan265 banned

I am not happy with karan265

First, he rips Sohan's site (totally, including the code, then angrily denies it, then later gets rid of it because he knows he's in too deep and everyone is onto him)

Then, the smart ass is so arrogant and up himself that he gets a free template, removes the designed by notice, and gloats about it, and then says to me (after I say I'm going to try and find the owner and contact him/her):

This is twice he has used another persons design, just like that!

Reasons why he should be banned:
- Rips other people's designs
- Lies about it, then accuses other members of lying
- Then he starts ripping into other members who told him he was bad for ripping sohan's site

This guy thinks he can do whatever he wants, regardless of laws and MORALS. He doesn't care that he ripped a design. He is another teenage punk (I know he his, if he wasn't a teen he would have said he wasn't to prove me wrong) who thinks the world revolves around him.

He even admits "using a layout made by a fellow dp member". Last night he was getting angry because he was being accused of copying it!

This forum would be better of without people like karan265. Today ripping people's design without care; what tomorrow? As far as I'm concerned, he is on the level on scammer - which is absolutely NOT tolerated. He is part of the group which has prevented people from being able to show live previews of their designs, or show scripts; because they don't want it ripped and then the poor person who buys it gets a non-unique template.

From experience, DP doesn't ban for these reasons, more for duplicate accounts, etc. Bad apples are allowed in for some reason, hopefully he does something against the rules HERE to get himself banned as we don't need his sort here.

 

It's weird, he's tried to scam a couple of times but nothings happened. I guess because he hasn't succeeded yet (always gets busted!) he hasn't done enough to get banned.

That cheeky little sod! There was no link back, I threatened to contact the owners because he had deleted the link. So what did he do? Put the link back on, then posted what I had posted earlier when threatening to contact the owner:

See how he tried to make it seem like I was ripping into him for nothing? That's what I mean by this guy is a very bad apple. Him trying to misrepresent the situation is VERY low of him!

 

If people have a problem with someone here, they have to deal with it legally. I've seen this sort of thing happen at other forums and the person's normally banned instantly, most forums don't want these people having free roam to do as they please to their members.

 

I think the best would be to ignore it. DP is not going to ban the user, (they rarely do).

2 threads on the same subject, (Why I want xxx banned), is bound to get people more upset rather than achieving anything useful.

Yeah, it's best to just research someone as best you can before doing business with them, and others should do the same. It's out there now for people to find and see about this person in particular.

 

So if the mods don't do anything, everytime he posts trying to sell something, then post a load of links and examples of the guy being a knob......

I can't think of anyway how though. We didn't do a transaction together, so I can't give him a negative iTrader. I red repped him and encouraged people to do the same if they think what he has done was immoral (that's what reputation is for in my opinion - basically if they behave good or bad)

 

Well they do not know if this is true or not do they? It sad but the forum does not have claws to deal with this kind of stuff. You can create a site simlar to his and make sure when ever his site come on Google yours do to.

Or you can offer some space in your singature and tell people about. I think after a while people will know what happend and the problem person will wanish.

 

I got an infraction for doing just that on the user bccruzer. Imagine, he scammed a few people and I got an infraction for warning people about him. In what other forum would that happen ?
Its like if someone in the neighborhood steals my car, then I warn my other neighbors of the thief and then the police give me a $100 ticket for telling the neighbors.

That makes you wonder what that moderator is/was thinking.
(That last comment about the mod is serious and not just a flaming of that mod)

 

Some of the scams are definitely true. Him ripping sohan's site is definitely true. I don't think he could rank high in Google anyway lol

I was thinking about that, but then he would just do one in retaliation and I couldn't be bothered having to explain why he has "rochow is a scammer" in his sig
