I just saw this ad on DP, from Blogsvertise, where bloggers get paid for writing about a subject on their blog. From an advertiser POV, it looks like a good way to get new sites of the ground and create some semi-natural word of mouth advertising. What i wonder is, what is the quality of these kind of services? Are there any well established companies that offer these kind of services for advertisers? It would be a shame to waste money on some kid reviewing your website on his playstation blog Should one invest time and money in these things and if so, what would be the best place to do so? Please, share your experiences Regards
I'm interested in this service too, but have the same suspection. I only want my website shows on webmaster or SEO related bloggers, and want to know how much is the cost.
I work for Blogsvertise, if any of you here are members I am sure you have received emails from me Anyway if you have any questions about our service I would be happy to answer them here or through private correspondence. You can email me at or PM me or post here. Thanks!
Pay per post is a good method to update the content of the site on daily basis. However, this method can't generate new sign up and you have to create something attractive, example contest, referral program etc to overcome this issue.
I believe Ted's ID is murphman. PayPerPost is the market leader for sponsored posts, with the largest advertiser and blogger network. That said, as a PPP investor, I believe there is plenty of room for improvement. I'd be happy to try answering any of your PayPerPost questions, just PM me...
Yes Payperpost is definatly good. I havent tried it yet, but have read some great reviews about it. Also another one is reviewme, they are good because you can chose the blog you want to do the review for you. I read a blog that uses this and so far the 2 places he has done a review for have gotten their money back within the day.
How can you tell how much traffic a blog gets? Everyone can start a blog and write some reviews, but if no one reads it, it's pointless
I dont think you can really estimate the traffic, and I would also be weary of PR, I guess its just trust really.
It's not really pointless if noone reads it, the point is more.. does google spider it, however my partner and I did start one recently, with this goal in mind.. We started it out with reviews of our own websites to give it some content, and the question arose.. If you do want people to read it, then you have to be honest, I pay writers to do most of my writing these days, and when the writer pretty much said.. this is a great useful site.. with a crappy forum.. I wondered... Do I want to leave that there? Keep it honest so that people read it.. hell it's true. But you guys aren't really going to want to pay for a blog post that says.. this site really kinda sucks Any thoughts?
having posts done for you works very well. just make sure you submit the blogs in multiple spots and it will get passed around from blog site to blog site.
I believe it's same as with any ads: it needs to be targeted and done properly. I have written some posts with affiliate links to products and somebody bought them. That would suggest to me that if you have a product that's useful for the blog audience and the blog author is reliable then making the blog post is ok. Find a way to make sure it's win-win-win situation (and you can do that, that's for sure) for everybody where readers, blogger and you win. It requires making sure you target to right blogs and right audience, but it will be worth it.
