What America wants is the best PERSON for the job. Anything else, race, gender, religion should be secondary.

I'm not sure how it works in your world. Most people I know vote for the right person. Voting any other way is stupid and ignorant. What segment do you hail from?
At least, it should be that way. However, in my opinion, it was not that way 3 years ago. I'm sure Obama can do a better job than lots of other candidates. America, outside N-Y, LA, Miami-Ft Lauderdale area and anywhere civilization is, it is obvious. Now, in the deep hillbilly areas of the U.S, it's another story unfortunately. I just wish americans won't make another 4 years mistake.
Funny, the most racist people I met were from L.A. almost as racist as the neo-nazis I have spoke to or ran into (bulter in Hayden ID!) Our friend ran for Oregon senate this last round -She is a black woman who is a replublican (sorry ferret, I am sure she is just a token slave or something like rice is to you....) this is in southern Oregon which people from college towns call red neck hicks. Yet she got quite a few votes from the replublicans (which are supposed to be racists, feminists, etc...)
Let me try to be clearer: When Clinton said numerous times to W. to keep the job done with Bin Laden, W. didn't listen and repeated he want to check for oil in Alaska instead. When W. had intelligence saying "something" will hit america, he tought nobody can do major damage on US soil, let it go thinking it will be minor, and could have an excuse to keep finishing what's dad did but didn't finished. When W. & Co lied about WMD in Iraq, It didn't even make sense since Iraqi had a 10-15 years of global embargo and had not even enough food. You could imagine that IF Iraqi had WMD, the only way to lauch them was to put a missile on the shoulder of 6 Iraqi and run till the border to throw the missile by hand ! To make it short, W. is a Failure with a big F. I still can't believe he stay sit in that Florida school, unable to do anything, as president. Even me, the last of the idiot in here in DP, knew right away that the second plane was a sign of war, as the first one might be "an accident" at the first place. He even keep saying Bin Laden is alive, as he need it that way in the american minds to avoid losing support... I still believe that once the Iraq war over, USA will begin to hunt terrorists, finally... Hope this help...

That's odd. Had Clinton actually been doing what you think he was, there would have been no 9/11. Drilling in Alaska IS a good thing. Yeah, and Clinton thought what you think Bush thought. After all, more terror attacks took place on US soil on Clinton's watch than any other president in history. Bush has not seen a terror attack since 9/11. Amazing what being proactive does. Actually what Bush did was rely on inteligence from Clinton and several other top ranking democrats that cited specific evidence of WMD's, repeatedly. Some names that come to mind are, Hillary, Teddy, and Kerry, to name a few. You seem to forget that Democrats voted for the war, and democrats said there were WMD's. Not the other way around. Failure at what specifically? How'd you come to this determination? Kerry stood around for 45 minutes. What was he doing? Clinton had his thumb up his ass and his privates in a young ladies mouth for a number of years. What was he doing? Thank you for telling us all what we already know. This is the problem with liberals...they truly don't know what the subject is about...Let me give you a link where you can find more information...information such as this: ANWR is roughly 19 million acres...only 1.5 mill or 8% would even be developed...not the whole thing. Furthermore, this region was set aside by congress when ANWR was made a wildlife reserve...therefore all that has to be done is approval to open it up. This has been going on since 1980...however, a key factor came about in 1995: "In 1995, the U.S. House and Senate approved Coastal Plain Development as part of a balanced budget act, but the entire measure was vetoed by President Clinton." Get your facts straight before you try to argue a case.
