Retrieving Alexa Rank

    Has anybody heard of an algorithm to retrive the Alexa Rank of a page? Screenscraping is one option, but that is always so bloated.

    Not much. But people obsess about all kinds of crap on the Internet. We should start a list of useless crap that people obsess about.

    Here is a starter list:
    1. PR
    2. PR bled
    3. Keyword density
    4. Alex rankings
    5. Google PR/BL update
    6. Exact time to the second of Google's caching of a page
    7. Number of visitors your competitor gets
