LOL no surprise there buddy.

Can I offer some advice to you though? If that is OK.

Don't post generic Google search links, it's not good and puts you on GTechs level like when he posts his links to his own posts on DP.

    Thanks.

Your stupid google search only gave me answers like "Was Fred Fielding Deep throat?" I did not see one answer about Bush and Cheney hiring him...as usual, you have no idea what you are talking about and you can only post stupid google searches. WHERE ARE THE FACTS???

Bush has hired Christopher G. Oprison and Paul R. Eckert in the past week, not Fred Fielding. What an idiot.

LOL fella, he ain't "on my side" as you say but I find some of what he says to be spot-on and he doesn't ramble on as much as you do but posting links to a Google search is stupid.

I'm no expert but trust me, it's shitty.

The Google search is posted for background little children!

Here is the official article of Bush and Cheney bringing in Nixon Lawyer Fred Fielding to keep them out of jail in the upcoming Watergate II trials.

    I find this very interesting.

First off, if you read through newsarticles that describe the comings and goings of various people within the administration you'll see many mentions negotiations and internal struggles about who should stay and who should go in the administration.

For instance, Woodward's last book referenced that Andrew Card and Laura Bush were concerned about Rumsfeld months and months before his resignation.

Subsequent, there were reports that the administration and the President were prepared to let Rumsfeld go last Spring. When the 1/2 dozen or so ex-generals attacked Rumsfeld's management of the war and the war itself, the administration immediately pulled back on the supposed Rumsfeld resignation.

Of course it was reported as a resignation---though Bush had an immediate replacement. All of these immediate replacement deals are choreagraphed internally. Either the cabinet officer or staff member gives plenty of advance notice and Bush and staff have time to search for a replacement before this all happens---or the administration decides someone must go--the staff finds a replacement and the administration tells the staff or cabinet officer its bye bye time.

Colin Powell has identified that he fell into the latter category. Prior to that he had suggested that he and Rumsfeld leave at the same time...but of course that didn't happen.

All of which brings us to Harriet Miers and her replacement Fred Fielding. The thing that I'm wondering about is .....if the administration felt it needed a heavyweight attorney to protect themselves in the event of investigations.....then wasn't it horrendously inappropriate of the administration to propose Harriet Miers for Supreme Court Justice? If she isn't that strong or good why nominate her for the number 1 judicial appointment in the land?

Too bad there aren't tapes like during Watergate. :D

The American people don't need tapes, anyone that has been around knows how corrupt this version of the Nixon White House is, all you have to be able to do is see a pattern and have vision to see the puzzle before all the pieces are put together!

When you appoint Henry Kissinger to the 9/11 cover up commission you have real problems to cover up.

I think that nomination was all wrong...and the public agreed. This will be interesting...however, I also find it interesting that the dems can't really go for the jugular about the war, after all, most of them voted for it based on the same intelligence. They could go after the CIA, but that wouldn't do any good, and the whole Plame not-a-leak affair has gone no where as well. Fitzgerald has no evidence that Plame was on covert ops or that her identity was leaked, since she was commonly seen with her husband and also was talked about in his book written in the 90's. I think the Bush admin is just covering their six, which is the same thing clinton did, bush sr did, reagan did, carter did, etc...

Here is an excerpt from Fox News on the change....

As with other resignations--this one was evidently decided from up top...with a concern about investigations.

The "inside source" certainly doesn't put it in words as I did vis a vis Miers being strong. I recall her background was corporate law--which has nothing to do with criminal investigations.
