I have recently installed Google Analytics on my web site and was wondering if seeing as Google now knows the visitors details of my site (inside out and back to front) would this have an effect on my Keyword SERPS? Your thoughts please. There is one particular keyword that I do not rank highly in for my site yet a good number of my search engine generated visitors include this Keyword somewhere in the search string. If the mighty G now know this (they probably did before!), do you think that this should have a positive impact on my SERPS for that keyword?
need help guys. ive installed the code for google analytics its working fine but i cant find the part where i can see what search term was used that redirect to my blog. can anyone help me please.
I stumbled upon this post and even though it's older; it seems to have gone unanswered. You can see your search terms by clicking on: Search Engine marketing->Overall keyword Conversion
Cheers for the 'bump' ses5909. Re the original question, I think it might be worth an update. Since my original post, my site seems to have come out of the Google Sandbox. It has improved considerably for my specific search term. This has been (AFAIAA) the result of a number of facts. More Keyword rich articles, Better Page Titles, Better Anchor Text in external Links Introduction of Google Analytics. Whilst I can't prove it, I am sure that the extra info that Google collects with their Analytics tools about my site has helped with my SERPS. For instance, if I have a number of visitors from Yahoo and not as many from Goolge for the same search term because I rate much higher in Yahoo than Google, I am sure that once the Google Analytics has seen this as a trend, then Google will act on this info. Your thoughts please. Hopper
