I think I can safely say my husband is happy with me. His goal for me is to earn enough that he can work at home with me. It might help that I don't go along with his mother's suggestions that I get rid of his science fiction collection (ours, actually, I put in at least as many books) or make him get rid of his old clothes. His mother is a wonderful woman, but has some definite ideas about what he should keep. Probably a good thing I'm one of those things she thinks he should keep.
That's so sweet Steph. We really need to let our significant others be who they are, it's who we fell in love with to begin with. People shouldn't need to change. I am glad you two are happy and I hope he can work at home with you eventually. That's the same plans I have with Dan.
You think whatever you and him had are fights???? What till you are married for 4-6 years that's when the real fights begin. Some old man was at my business about 9-10 years ago and we were talking about relationships. He tossed out that out famous quote to me that I think about when wife and I get in a fight. (BTW, we don't fight very often) I would like to pass that on to you guys as it might come in hand. "Lose the battle win the war." - source (some old dude) lol BTW, June 13th will be 8 years for my wife and I. We got married on a Friday the 13th. lol
I've been in a 10 year relationship, 10 years this June 23rd actually. I know all too well about fighting (and abuse) that's why I am getting out, although we never fight anymore, it's just killed everything. Since I've been there I know how to handle it better now and so does Dan cause he's had his own bad relationship. We've both learned from them. Congrats on almost 8 years!
Hahah how smart we think we are eh. Compar people who think they know everything are very annoying to those of us that do (Just a joke big guy) I am NOT going to start a new life with C because she has an amazing ASS if you look at my posts I listed all sorts of incredible traits. None the less what I did list isn't even the tip of the iceburg. To tell you the truth she doesnt mind that I mentioned how much I like her ass. It is a PERFECT ass after all my friend
That's what my wife said at first. Having seperate hobbies is not a bad thing. Be careful not to spent to much time together.
If you'd like to hear the history of relationships distilled into one very insightful audio message follow this link. ftp://ftp.compar.com/pub/HorseRace.mp3 Be warned that you may want to ask the children to leave the room before playing this.
Marriage is cool. I was happly married all three times for a while. Its good for the first 6 months and then it gets a but repettative
You just make sure to not let it get repetitive, you do things spontaneously, keep it interesting...etc. Hope you get it right the 4th time around Mick, at least you think it's cool, you have that on your side.
I get married in about 6 weeks. Should I get out before it's too late? Should I do an Eric Cantona and leave at the top!
That chick in America who did a runner days before her wedding, faked her abduction to look like she got snatched out running. When she finally rang the police and told them she was OK her groom said he still wanted to marry her! I'd be asking some serious questions if I was him! Anyway, I'm sure you know what you're doing and your Groom is Mr Right! Enjoy the process and don't let the hype get to you S
No way... spend the next six weeks shitting yourself, yet knowing that the best chapter in your life is yet to come Congrats in advance
I would be so excited if I was getting married in 6 weeks. It's gonna be great, Stephan. Just think you're very own personal dishwasher with a lifetime guarentee But seriously, be happy. Some people go there whole lives without finding love or being able to share their life with someone special. Ps; We wanna see pics of the big bash - dont forget!
