Err? I am confused? By MSN, I imagine you mean MSN Messneger.... How's this, there is a little knob on the front of your speakers (they are the boxes coming out of your computer, if you don't have any, that is the problem) turn it so that the volume goes "up".

Shawn is going to have to do something soon about this, the forum seems like a billboard anymore.

Text size and limits on signatures is needed quick :)

I think there is an option where you can make signatures invisible. Check them in USER CP -> Options.

Yes, but that isn't the solution. I agree with Anthony, this isn't Time Squares and we don't need any billboard sigs.

.... i'm not an idiot, but i can sure see your an @ss.

It's like i've only lost the sounds that are releated to Windows and windows only- MSN, Windows Start up/Shut down, Recycle Bin, the sounds ARE there, when i go to options and hit play i DO hear it, but i can't figure out why it won't play on its own.

I had the exact same problems.
    However I noticed that:
    - my soundcard works
    - winks sounds work (because the sounds are integrated in the animations)
    - the windows sound scheme did have an MSN Messenger section, but it had no items..

So I went into my other account, went into the registry.. exported the msn sound section, imported that into my account with non-working msn.. opened the .reg file of the export, and msn is working again =)

I attached it to this post. Hope it helps someone. I am very happy my msn is working again :D

Maybe you should look at the title of this forum - you seem to have taken a wrong turn and got lost. This is not a PC support forum

MSN - For discussion of Microsoft's search engine that powers the MSN search.
